Replit connects an app to outside services in four layers, and your plan decides which open up. Its managed PostgreSQL database, App Storage and Replit Auth need no setup on any plan; a custom domain starts on Core. **Connectors** sign Agent into tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce or Stripe through OAuth. They start on Core, which costs $20 per month billed monthly or $18 per month billed annually. **AI Integrations** put OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Grok and OpenRouter models inside your app without your own keys, also from Core. MCP runs in both directions. Replit's changelog counted more than 450 integrations across connectors, MCP servers and Git providers in June 2026. On the free Starter plan you mostly bring your own keys.

**$20 per month** — Core billed monthly ($18 per month billed annually): the lowest plan for connectors, AI Integrations and Stripe

- **450+** — Integrations incl. connectors, MCP servers and Git providers (Replit's changelog, June 2026)
- **About 35** — One-click MCP servers Replit lists for Agent
- **500 characters** — Limit on agent instructions for a custom connector (beta, Pro and Enterprise)

## Four kinds of integration, and the plan each one needs

Replit's docs sort everything Agent can attach into four types. Replit-managed integrations work out of the box. Connectors hold a shared, platform-managed sign-in. External integrations are services where you paste your own API key into Secrets: OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, Perplexity, Mistral, OpenRouter, Workato, HubSpot and Discord are the documented examples, and the provider bills you directly. Agent services such as Brave Image Search, ElevenLabs, Firecrawl used through Replit and Gemini image generation are billed at the provider's public API rate and deducted from your Replit credits. The distinction matters because each type lands on a different bill.[1]

| Integration | Lowest plan |
|---|---|
| Database, App Storage, Replit Auth | Starter |
| Custom domains (connect or buy) | Core |
| Shopify store | Starter |
| Library connectors (Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce and others), analytics connectors Segment, Amplitude, Hex | Core |
| AI Integrations | Core |
| Stripe payments | Core |
| Custom API connectors (beta) | Pro |
| BigQuery, Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric warehouse connectors; custom OAuth apps | Enterprise |
| Self-hosted Git providers (GitHub Enterprise Server and others) | Enterprise |

Starter users are not locked out entirely. Most connectors need a paid plan, but some work on the free tier and Shopify works for every builder. Without the Google Workspace connector, Agent has to use a Google OAuth project whose credentials you paste into Secrets yourself, and AI features run on your own provider key. Starter also lacks Full build and Plan Mode, so heavier integration work tends to push you to Core sooner than you planned ([what the free tier covers](/articles/is-replit-free)).

## Connectors: sign in once, reuse the connection everywhere

Connectors launched in September and October 2025 with 24 pre-built integrations, each powered by MCP, and the full library opened to Core and Pro in April 2026. You authorize a service once. The connection belongs to your Replit account and is reused across all your apps, while Replit stores and rotates the tokens centrally instead of leaving them inside each app's code. Revoking access needs no code change, and each app still asks for consent. The catalog covers Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Linear, Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Stripe, Square, Plaid, RevenueCat, Airtable and Notion, among others.

Teams should know who controls them. On Core and Pro, connector management lives in a collaborative workspace: the account admin sets up a connection and every builder in that workspace can use it. **Deleting a connector removes it for all builders**, not just for you. Enterprise moves this to the organization level, where admins approve which groups may use each connector, and only Enterprise can bring its own OAuth client with custom scopes. Connection scopes come in Personal, Workspace, Project and Replit-managed variants, so a personal mailbox and a shared CRM can sit side by side.

Connecting costs nothing. Authenticating and reading data spend no credits; credits go out when Agent writes or changes code that uses the connection. A few connectors bill elsewhere: the Firecrawl connector, linked to your own Firecrawl account, is billed by Firecrawl, while Tripo3D usage comes out of Replit credits. For an API outside the library, Pro and Enterprise can add a custom connector (beta) pointing at a public HTTPS REST API with its base URL and credentials, plus agent instructions capped at 500 characters. That route is separate from adding a custom MCP server.

> 💡 **Let the admin own shared connections:** On Core and Pro the account admin sets up a connector once in the collaborative workspace and every builder there can use it, so personal duplicates are unnecessary.

## AI Integrations: models in your app, billed from credits

AI Integrations, launched in November 2025, let an app call models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Grok and OpenRouter with no accounts or keys of your own. Replit charges the public API price and deducts it from your credits, and the usage page breaks the spend down by app.[2] Output can be text, image or audio. Video is not supported; a video feature needs your own key from a provider that offers it. When a prompt mentions AI on a paid plan, Agent defaults to this route, wiring new apps automatically and asking first on existing ones.

Two switches catch teams out. On Pro and Enterprise the feature starts **disabled until an organization admin turns it on**, and while it is off, members must supply their own keys and are billed by the provider. On Starter it is unavailable, though your own key still works. Your keys only cover the models your app calls, because the model powering Agent itself runs on Replit's side and cannot be swapped. Every AI call a published app makes comes out of the owner's credits, then pay-as-you-go unless you set a budget, which is a hard cap that temporarily suspends all usage-based services, hosting and databases included ([how credits and budgets work](/articles/replit-pricing)).

> ⚠ **Free OpenRouter models may train:** Through OpenRouter, free model providers may train on and publish your prompts and completions; paid endpoints have training disabled for self-serve users.

> ⚠ **AI Integrations start switched off on Pro:** On Pro and Enterprise an organization admin must enable AI Integrations; until then members need their own API keys and are billed by the provider.

## MCP both ways, Slack, and the question of an API

As a client, Agent reaches about 35 one-click MCP servers, including Airtable, Atlassian, Linear, Notion, Stripe, Supabase, Sentry, PostHog and Zapier.[3] Since December 2025 it also accepts any remote server over HTTPS, signed in through OAuth or a custom header such as an API key. Members can add personal servers; admins add workspace ones. All MCP traffic passes Replit's security scanner, which blocks tools it judges unsafe. Restraint helps here. Every server loads its full tool list upfront, and Replit warns that adding too many can degrade Agent's output.

The other direction is the Replit MCP Server, in public beta at mcp.replit.com. ChatGPT, Claude, Slack or any MCP client can use it to create an app from a prompt, find and inspect apps, ask Agent about one, update it and publish it, with OAuth sign-in and your existing permissions. The ChatGPT app is not offered in the EU, handles one Replit app per conversation and spends your Replit credits; on Starter it builds public apps only. Replit has been a connector inside Claude since June 2026.

Slack comes in two separate pieces. The Replit Slack bot lets a team talk to Agent from a channel, needs a team workspace with the feature enabled, and ties each thread to the person who started it. The Slack connector instead lets Agent search messages you can access, send messages as you and edit canvases. As for a classic Replit API: the API keys Replit documents belong to Enterprise, namely the Admin API (beta) for usage, members, projects and budgets, and the Compliance API. For Core and Pro builders, the MCP server is the programmatic door.

## GitHub, imports, and getting your code back out

The Git pane connects a project to a GitHub repository with two-way auto-sync, and you can commit, branch and resolve merge conflicts without the command line. Replit suggests a fine-grained personal access token for a steadier link. The GitHub and GitLab command-line tools also run in Shell. Imports cover GitHub (rapid import for public repositories, guided import for private ones), GitLab, Bitbucket, Vercel and ZIP files. Lovable, Base44 and Bolt projects arrive through a GitHub export, with Lovable also able to send a ZIP. Code, styles, assets, backend logic and schema come across. Data records, secrets and API keys do not. Figma import is open to all users, and a Figma link can go straight into Replit Design. Expect a second pass on navigation, forms and hover states.

Leaving is possible but partial. Code and Git history travel through GitHub sync or a ZIP download, and the production database is standard PostgreSQL reachable with its connection string. Replit-managed pieces do not follow: Replit Auth accounts, connectors, AI Integrations, App Storage and secrets have to be replaced wherever you go next. Even copying a project inside Replit leaves secrets, buckets, connectors and collaborators behind ([how the database splits development and production](/articles/replit-database)).

## Taking payments: Stripe, Shopify, Whop and RevenueCat

Replit documents four monetization integrations, one per kind of sale. **Stripe** handles web payments on Core and Pro; on Starter, Agent asks you to upgrade. Agent starts in a Stripe sandbox, and going live means installing the Replit Integrated Payments app from the Stripe Marketplace on a live account instead of pasting keys.[4] You can use your own Stripe keys instead, but never both methods in the same environment. Before launch, check the published app's secrets in the Publishing pane.

Shopify suits physical goods and works on every plan. Agent provisions a password-protected development store that Replit owns, one per app; you claim it through a link that expires after 7 days and starts a Shopify trial, then pick a paid Shopify plan. Checkout, taxes and shipping stay on Shopify. Whop covers digital products: Agent creates the account without keys, and you pass Whop's identity checks before withdrawing money. RevenueCat is for subscriptions inside native mobile apps and needs a paid Apple Developer account, Apple's Paid Apps Agreement and a bank account. On top, Replit's integrations page offers Stripe-connector users $50 in credits for every $250 earned through Stripe, up to $2,000 in credits for $100,000 in earnings.

> 💡 **Stay in the Stripe sandbox first:** On Core or Pro, Agent builds payments against a Stripe sandbox; go live by installing the Replit Integrated Payments app on a live Stripe account or with your own Stripe keys, never both methods in one environment.

## FAQ

**Can I add Replit connectors from the mobile app?**

Yes. Since September 2025 the Replit mobile app lets you add connectors such as GitHub and Notion to your apps on the go.

**Does Replit publish static IP addresses for allowlisting?**

No. Replit does not publish a static IP list for connectors; you ask Replit support or your account team for the current outbound addresses, for example to allowlist them in Snowflake.

**Can a webhook reach a private Replit app?**

Yes, through external access tokens. They let webhooks, CI jobs and scripts reach a private project or deployment, can be scoped to development or production, carry an expiry and can be revoked at any time.

**Does Replit connect to Google Ads or Meta Ads?**

Not natively. TikTok Ads and Snapchat Ads are native connectors, while Google Ads and Meta Ads need your own API key.

## The bottom line

Replit's integrations are deep once you pay for Core. Connectors with central token handling, AI models billed from the same credit balance, MCP in both directions and four payment routes cover most of what a small business app needs, and Shopify plus your own API keys keep Starter usable for experiments. The costs to watch are indirect: Agent work, AI calls and visitor traffic all draw on one owner's credits, a deleted connector disappears for the whole workspace, and leaving Replit means rebuilding the managed pieces. Pick the plan by the integrations you need, not the other way round.
