## SavvyCal pricing at a glance

SavvyCal sells two plans, Basic and Premium, and both are priced per user. Basic costs $12 per user a month on monthly billing or $10 a month on annual billing, and Premium costs $20 a month or $17 a month on annual billing [1]. All prices are in US dollars, with sales tax added where it applies. There is no free scheduling plan and no time-limited trial. You can sign up, set up your account and run meeting polls without paying, but your booking links only go live once you pick a plan. **Every paid plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee**, which is the closest thing SavvyCal offers to a trial.

| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually | Annual cost per user |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Basic | $12 per user a month | $10 per user a month | $120 |
| Premium | $20 per user a month | $17 per user a month | $204 |

The pricing page pitches Basic at individuals and small teams and Premium at businesses that want more control over their scheduling flows. That description undersells Basic. Unlimited links, unlimited calendar connections, team scheduling, workflows, CRM integrations and the API all sit on the cheaper plan. Premium adds a short list of extras that matter a great deal to some buyers and not at all to others. The rest of this page walks through what each plan covers, how seats are counted, what a real team pays and how the bill stacks up against the two rivals buyers most often weigh.

## What Basic covers, and why most teams stop there

Basic is not a starter tier with the good parts held back. It includes unlimited scheduling links, meeting polls, calendar connections and teams. All three team modes are on it: collective links that show only times when everyone is free, round robin links that spread meetings across a pool, and group mode that lets several people book the same slot. Availability sharing, website embedding and the browser extension are included. So are email reminders and workflows, the conferencing integrations, the CRM integrations, Zapier, and the API with webhooks. The smarter availability tools, ranked availability, time blocking and frequency limits, are there as well.

Branding on Basic is partial. Colors yes, unbranded pages no. You can set your colors, avatar and banner, but the SavvyCal name stays on your pages. For a consultant booking calls with clients, or a small sales team running a round robin demo link, that is usually enough. **The practical rule is simple.** If you do not need payments at booking, your own domain, your own sending address or an assistant managing your calendar, Basic covers you. Teams of any size can stay there, because team scheduling is not gated by plan. That is unusual in this category, where round robin often sits one tier higher.

> 💡 **Start on Basic, upgrade later:** Team modes, workflows, integrations and the API are all on Basic. Move to Premium only when you need payments, your own domain or an assistant.

## What Premium adds for the extra money

Premium costs $8 more per user a month on monthly billing, or $7 more on annual billing, which comes to $84 more per user a year, by our arithmetic. For that you get five things. Custom domains let your links, profile and polls live on your own web address. Custom sending domains, which SavvyCal calls sender profiles, send automated emails from your own domain instead of a SavvyCal address once your DNS records check out. You can remove SavvyCal branding. Delegated access lets an assistant manage your settings, availability, billing and links. And paid bookings connect a Stripe account so people pay before the time is reserved.

### Paid bookings are the feature that forces the upgrade

Of the five, payments decide the plan most often. Coaches, consultants and freelancers who charge at the moment of booking cannot do it on Basic at all. On Premium, a link can be tied to a Stripe product, any payment method set up in Stripe works, and Stripe Tax can collect sales tax, VAT or GST. Two details are worth knowing before you budget. SavvyCal does not refund a paid meeting automatically when it is canceled; refunds are left to you. And the slot is held for only 10 minutes while the booker sits in Stripe Checkout.

Delegated access has a small saving built in. The assistant needs a SavvyCal account but not a paid one, so a founder on Premium does not buy a second seat for the person who manages the calendar. The changelog also lists link analytics, a traffic report with conversion rates and an event activity report, as a Premium feature, though the pricing page does not show it in the plan grid. Treat that as something to confirm with support if reporting matters to you.

## Monthly or annual: what two months free really means

The pricing page advertises annual billing as two months free. **On Basic, that is exact.** Twelve months at $12 comes to $144, while the annual rate of $10 a month comes to $120, a saving of $24, or two months of the monthly price, by our arithmetic. On Premium the saving is a little smaller. Twelve months at $20 is $240 against $204 on annual billing, a difference of $36 per user a year. That is just under two months. Close enough.

Annual billing carries the same 30-day refund as monthly billing, which lowers the risk of committing up front. The Terms say subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel before the term ends, and that prices can change at any time. So a team paying annually locks in its rate only until renewal. For a solo user the choice is close. You save $24 a year on Basic by paying $120 at once, and you lose nothing on the refund side. Most buyers who already know they want SavvyCal should pay annually.

## How seats are counted on a team

SavvyCal bills per user, and the seat count follows your team automatically. When you create a team and invite colleagues, they get paid access and your subscription seat count rises to match. When you remove someone from the organization, the count drops. Creating teams costs nothing on its own. You pay only for the people you invite, each charged as a seat to the organization that owns the team [47]. A person who belongs to several teams under the same organization is not charged twice, which helps when one salesperson sits in a demo pool and a support pool.

There is one limit to know. Team members inherit the permissions of the paid account, but they need their own paid subscription to create teams of their own. An organization is created automatically when someone starts a paid subscription, and it represents that subscription. In practice, one person, usually the owner or an admin, holds the billing and everyone else is a seat on it. Outsiders are different. People outside your company can share their availability or join as guests for free, so a client or a recruiting candidate never needs a seat.

> 💡 **Invite only people who host:** Every invited teammate becomes a paid seat. Clients, candidates and other outsiders can share availability or join as guests for free.

## What you can do without paying

SavvyCal is free to sign up for, and some of it stays free. You can create an account and set it up fully before paying anything. Meeting polls are free, unlimited, ad-free and need no credit card, which is a fair deal for anyone who mainly coordinates group meetings. You can overlay your own calendar on other people's SavvyCal links to see where their open times fall against your day, and you can be a guest on someone else's booking at no cost.

What you cannot do for free is the core of the product. A paid plan is needed to activate your own scheduling links for others to book, to be the organizer on someone else's link, and to join a round robin pool. So a team cannot keep junior members on free accounts and still route demo calls to them. Ignore older posts on SavvyCal's own blog that describe other offers. The current pricing FAQ is clear: free signup, then a paid plan backed by the 30-day refund. For the full breakdown of the free side, see [is SavvyCal free](/articles/is-savvycal-free).

## Refunds, cancellation and the 25% discount

The refund terms are among the friendliest in scheduling software. Cancel within 30 days of starting a subscription and you get a full refund; after that, any refund, partial or full, is at SavvyCal's discretion [3]. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page under Settings or by emailing support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term, so you keep what you paid for. After that, SavvyCal deactivates your links but keeps your data, as long as you do not delete the account. You can still overlay your calendar on other links and run polls, and you can reactivate later.

Deleting the account is a separate step. It is permanent. If there is any chance you will come back, cancel the subscription and leave the account in place. Either way, export your history first. The Events page exports upcoming, past and canceled events as a CSV file, including each scheduler's email, phone number and answers to your custom questions, which is worth keeping before any change of tool.

### Who gets 25% off

Students, educators and non-profits can save 25%, but the discount is not a checkout option. You ask the support team to apply it. The pricing page does not say whether it stacks with annual billing, so ask before you pay. If it does apply to the annual Basic rate, a seat would come to $90 a year instead of $120, by our arithmetic. A five-person non-profit team would then pay $450 a year.

> ⚠ **Cancel, do not delete:** Cancelling keeps your data and lets you reactivate later. Deleting the account is permanent.

## What a team of five actually pays

Per-user pricing is easy to read and easy to underestimate, so here is the math for a typical small team. All figures are by our arithmetic from the pricing page, before any sales tax. A team of five on Basic pays $600 a year on annual billing or $720 a year on monthly billing. The same five on Premium pay $1,020 a year on annual billing or $1,200 a year monthly. Moving that team from Basic to Premium on annual terms adds $420 a year. Ten people on annual Basic come to $1,200 a year.

The gap between plans grows in a straight line with headcount, because every seat moves up together. That matters when only one person needs a Premium feature. A coach who takes payments needs Premium, but the three people who only book internal meetings would ride along at the higher price too if the whole team sits on one subscription. The pricing page does not say whether plans can be mixed inside one organization. Ask first. Check with support before you buy Premium for everyone because of one person's need.

## How the price compares with Calendly and Cal.com

Against Calendly, the headline numbers look identical. They are not. Calendly Standard costs $12 per seat a month, or $10 billed annually [16]. The difference is what sits behind that price. Calendly keeps round robin and team scheduling on its Teams plan, at $20 per seat a month or $16 billed annually. For five people on annual billing, Calendly Teams comes to $960 a year and SavvyCal Basic to $600, by our arithmetic. Calendly does offer a free plan, with one event type and one calendar connection, and SavvyCal does not. Calendly also treats its fees as non-refundable, while SavvyCal refunds in full within 30 days.

Cal.com sits at the other end. Its Free plan is free forever for one user, with unlimited event types and bookings, so a solo user who only needs a booking page can pay nothing at all. Cal.com Teams costs $16 per user a month, or $12 billed annually, and adds round robin, routing forms and SMS notifications. For five people on annual billing, Cal.com Teams comes to $720 a year and SavvyCal Basic to $600, by our arithmetic. Above that, Cal.com Organizations adds SAML SSO, SOC 2, HIPAA and ISO 27001, at $37 per user a month or $28 billed annually. SavvyCal has none of those at any price. That gap is structural.

### What the price does not buy

Price per seat is only half the comparison. SavvyCal has no native SMS reminders, no Salesforce integration, no routing forms, no SSO and no native mobile app, and its Terms forbid protected health information. If any of those is a hard requirement, the cheaper seat does not help. Workflows send email only, and SavvyCal itself suggests Zapier for texting. Count that extra tool. For the full picture of the two leaders, see [Calendly pricing](/articles/calendly-pricing).

## Which plan fits which buyer

**Pick Basic** if you are a solo professional or a team that books meetings without taking money. Founders, recruiters, account executives and agencies running round robin or collective links get everything they need there. A sales team that routes demos through HubSpot or Close is a good fit, as long as it does not need Salesforce. A team that wants polls for group meetings gets them on both plans, and anyone who only needs polls can stay free.

**Pick Premium** if you charge for your time at booking, want links on your own domain, need emails to come from your own address, want the SavvyCal name gone, or have an assistant who runs your calendar. Coaches, consultants and freelancers who bill at booking, and executives with assistants, are the natural buyers. **Look elsewhere** if you need text reminders, Salesforce, SSO, a compliance report or HIPAA coverage. Those gaps are not fixed by any SavvyCal plan, and for them the rivals above are the better buy.

## FAQ

**How much does SavvyCal cost?**

Basic is $12 per user a month billed monthly or $10 billed annually. Premium is $20 per user a month billed monthly or $17 billed annually.

**Is there a free SavvyCal plan?**

Not for scheduling. Signup, account setup, meeting polls and overlaying your calendar on other links are free, but your own booking links need a paid plan.

**Does SavvyCal offer refunds?**

Yes. Cancelling within 30 days of starting a subscription gets a full refund; later refunds are at SavvyCal's discretion.

**What does Premium add over Basic?**

Custom domains, custom sending domains, removal of SavvyCal branding, delegated access for an assistant and paid bookings through Stripe.

**How are team seats billed?**

Per user. Invited teammates are added as seats automatically and removed when they leave, and a person in several teams of one organization is charged once.

**Is there a discount?**

Annual billing gives two months free on Basic, and students, educators and non-profits can get 25% off by asking support.

## The bottom line

SavvyCal pricing is short and honest: Basic at $12 a month or $10 on annual billing, Premium at $20 or $17, per user, with a 30-day refund and no free scheduling plan. Basic is the better value of the two, because team scheduling, workflows, integrations and the API all live there, and for team scheduling it costs less per seat than the rivals' team plans. Premium is worth its extra cost only when you need payments, your own domain or sending address, unbranded pages or an assistant. Check the missing pieces first, then pay annually if you are sure.
