VEED's paid plans start at $12.25 per editor seat a month billed annually ($147 a year) or $25 per seat billed monthly, on the Creator plan. Pro costs $22.08 a seat a month billed annually or $45 billed monthly, Studio costs $38.75 or $79 on the same terms, and Enterprise is quoted by sales. These are USD prices for the default market. The sticker is not the bill: every person in the workspace is a paid seat, pending invites included, and AI credits expire at renewal. For a solo creator who needs clean 1080p exports for six months or more, annual Creator is the cheapest way in.

**$12.25** — Lowest paid price: Creator, per editor seat a month billed annually ($147 a year).

- **Every seat** — Owner, collaborators and pending invites are all billed per seat
- **3 editors** — Maximum on Free, Creator and Pro; Studio allows 5, Enterprise 500
- **0 rollover** — Unused AI credits expire at each renewal on every plan

## What each VEED plan costs and includes

| Plan | Monthly billing, per seat | Annual billing, per seat | AI credits | Export | Editors (max) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 50 a month (some regions) | 720p, watermark | 3 |
| Creator | $25 a month | $12.25 a month ($147 a year) | 500 a month / 6,000 a year | 1080p | 3 |
| Pro | $45 a month | $22.08 a month ($265 a year) | 2,500 a month / 30,000 a year | 4K | 3 |
| Studio | $79 a month | $38.75 a month ($465 a year) | 15,000 a month / 180,000 a year | 4K | 5 + 1 reviewer |
| Enterprise | Quoted by sales | Quoted by sales | Custom | 4K | 500 |

Creator removes the watermark, lifts exports to 1080p, unlocks unlimited auto subtitles under a 50-hour monthly fair-use limit and includes one Brand Kit limited to fonts and colors. Pro adds 4K export, multiple Brand Kits, subtitle translation into 50+ languages, up to 12 hours of AI voice a month and subtitle-file downloads. Studio adds custom templates, branded video hosting, custom watermarks and 80 hours of AI voice a month. SSO, DPAs and dubbing proofread sit in Enterprise alone.[1]

There is **a Free plan rather than a trial**. It costs $0, needs no card and has no time limit; the only free trial is reserved for Enterprise teams of three or more users. Free exports carry a hardcoded watermark at 720p, stop at 10 minutes and accept uploads of up to 1 GB per file. The privacy policy also says content uploaded on the Free plan through the web can be used to train the company's AI models (mobile-app uploads are excluded). Our [Free plan guide](/articles/is-veed-free) covers the other limits.

> 💡 **Clear pending invites before upgrading:** Pending invites and collaborators added on the Free plan are charged as seats once the workspace upgrades. Remove anyone who will not edit before you pay.

## Every editor is a billed seat, pending invites included

VEED bills per editor seat, and its help center counts everyone in the workspace: the owner, every collaborator and **every pending invite**.[2] The editor limits are ceilings, not included seats: Creator and Pro stop at three, Studio at five plus one reviewer role, Enterprise at 500. Adding someone is charged at once, prorated to the days left in the cycle. By our arithmetic, three Creator seats come to $75 a month billed monthly or $441 a year billed annually, three Pro seats $135 or $795, and five Studio seats $395 or $2,325.

A fourth editor on Creator or Pro means moving up a plan, though a free Project Viewer invite lets a stakeholder watch one project without a paid seat. Removing a collaborator returns no money. The unused seat time becomes account credit on future invoices, so a seat dropped halfway through an annual term stays paid. Each workspace is billed separately, and only its owner can upgrade, change the plan or manage collaborators, so agree on who owns billing before anyone pays.

> ⚠ **Removing a seat refunds nothing:** Unused seat time becomes credit on future invoices, not cash, so a seat dropped mid-term on an annual plan stays paid.

## AI credits are the second price tag

Each plan comes with one pool of AI credits per workspace: 500 a month on Creator, 2,500 on Pro and 15,000 on Studio with monthly billing, or 6,000, 30,000 and 180,000 a year with annual billing. Credits pay for AI Playground generations, Fabric talking videos, avatars, text to speech and subtitle translation. **They never roll over** and carry no cash value. Failed generations cost nothing. A disliked result is charged anyway. Auto subtitles draw on a separate allowance of minutes, and paid plans use Magic Cut, Clean Audio and Eye Contact without spending credits.

A Veo 3.1 clip costs 310 credits, so Creator's 500 monthly credits cover one clip and Pro's 2,500 cover eight, by our arithmetic. Kling 3 costs 20 credits a second and Seedance 2.5 costs 59.2 a second. Fabric 1.0, the in-house talking-video model, uses 8 credits a second at 720p, or 240 for a 30-second clip, so the Creator pool covers two such clips a month and the Pro pool ten. The exact cost appears on the Generate button before anything is spent.

On the web, more credits means a higher-credit variant of the same plan, picked at checkout or later as an upgrade that restarts the billing period.[3] The variants raise only the AI credits; features and the voice-translation allowance stay at the base tier. One-off top-ups exist only in the separate iOS Lite app. Prices are per seat, monthly billing first and annual billing in brackets:

- Creator: 1,500 credits for $35 a month (18,000 for $267 a year); 2,500 for $45 a month (30,000 for $387 a year); 5,500 for $75 a month (66,000 for $747 a year); 10,500 for $125 a month (126,000 for $1,347 a year).
- Pro: 3,750 credits for $55 a month (45,000 for $312 a year); 5,000 for $65 a month (60,000 for $372 a year); 8,750 for $95 a month (105,000 for $552 a year); 15,000 for $145 a month (180,000 for $852 a year).
- Studio: 16,300 credits for $89 a month (195,600 for $585 a year); 17,600 for $99 a month (211,200 for $705 a year); 21,500 for $129 a month (258,000 for $1,065 a year); 28,000 for $179 a month (336,000 for $1,665 a year).

Two upgrades look like poor value side by side. The 2,500-credit Creator variant costs $45 a month, the same as base Pro, which carries the same credits plus 4K and every Pro feature; on annual billing it is $387 a year against $265 for base Pro. Likewise, the 15,000-credit Pro variant at $145 a month or $852 a year holds the same credits as base Studio at $79 a month or $465 a year. **Price the next plan up** first.

## Monthly or annual: the six-month threshold

Annual billing charges the full year upfront. Twelve monthly Creator payments come to $300 by our arithmetic, against $147 for a year; Pro runs $540 against $265, and Studio $948 against $465. At their base credit levels, five months of monthly billing still cost less than the annual price on all three plans, and six months cost more. The higher-credit Creator and Studio variants need 7 to 11 months before annual billing pays off. Pay monthly for a short project and annually if you will keep the tool.

Upgrading resets the billing period, with unused time on the old plan prorated and deducted. Invoices are not emailed. You download them from the Invoices tab. A failed payment triggers daily retries for five days, then the workspace drops to Free. Prices show in local currency where available and can differ from the USD figures, India gets annual plans only, and iOS purchases are billed by Apple. Check the checkout in your own currency before comparing vendors.

## Refunds and cancellation: what you can't get back

The Terms of Sale leave one clear route to a full refund.[4] A consumer who has never used the service, meaning no uploads, edits or subtitles, and cancels within 14 days gets their money back. Once you have used it, cancelling, downgrading, removing seats and deleting the account return nothing. Beyond that rule, money comes back pro rata only if the service changes materially or the contract ends for the company's own reasons.

Renewals are automatic. Turn off auto-renewal in Workspace Billing at least two business days before the renewal date and keep the confirmation email. Access and remaining credits run until the paid period ends. Only the workspace owner can cancel; iOS subscriptions are cancelled through Apple, and Enterprise contracts through the customer success manager. Our [cancellation guide](/articles/how-to-cancel-veed) walks through each route.

> 💡 **Price the next plan up:** Creator's 2,500-credit variant costs $45 per seat a month billed monthly, the same as base Pro, which adds 4K and every Pro feature with the same credits. On annual billing the variant is $387 a year against $265 for base Pro.

## How the per-seat bill compares with Descript and Kapwing

Descript also charges per person, and its plan names collide with VEED's. Descript's Creator plan costs $24 per person a month billed annually or $35 billed monthly, with up to three seats. For three editors on annual billing, Descript Creator costs $864 a year and VEED Creator $441 a year, by our arithmetic. Descript offers 4K from its Creator plan, so VEED Pro at $795 a year is the fairer match for 4K work.

Descript refunds plan payments requested within 48 hours of the invoice date, and Editor seats within seven days, while VEED refunds only consumers who never used the service. Kapwing bills per member: Pro is $16 per member a month billed annually or $24 billed monthly with 1,000 credits. Credit counts do not convert between vendors. Compare the generations you need. Our [VEED vs Descript comparison](/articles/veed-vs-descript) covers the editing side.

## FAQ

**Does VEED offer any discounts?**

New customers can get 50% off the first three months (or the annual equivalent) through a referral link; it cannot be combined and is not available in India. We found no nonprofit or student discount; education plans are bespoke, through sales.

**Do VEED plan credits pay for the VEED API?**

No. The API is billed separately with prepaid credits at $1 for 100 credits, in top-ups of $10 to $1,000, which are non-refundable and expire two years after purchase.

**Why was I charged more than the pricing page shows?**

The usual causes are annual billing, which charges the whole year upfront, an existing collaborator or pending invite counted as a seat, or an upgrade, which starts a new full billing cycle minus the prorated unused time.

**Is the VEED Lite iOS app included in a web plan?**

Not reliably: VEED Lite is a separate captions app billed through Apple, and a Lite subscription does not carry over to the web, and VEED's help pages disagree on whether a web plan unlocks Lite. Check inside the app before buying both.

## The bottom line

VEED is cheap to start and easy to overspend on. Annual Creator at $12.25 per editor seat a month is a fair price for one person who wants watermark-free 1080p video and light AI use. Costs climb through seats and credits: every member and pending invite is billed, and credits vanish at renewal. Count your editors, estimate generations against the rate table, and weigh a credit variant against the next plan up before paying for a year.
