Glide (glideapps.com) sells two separate products, so it publishes two price lists. GlideOS, Glide's AI app builder for internal business apps that Glide's main pricing page now shows new buyers, costs $0 on Free, $25 per month on Basic with 100 credits, $50 per month on Plus with 250 credits, and $125 per month on Pro with 5 team members and 500 credits, all billed monthly. Glide Classic, the original no-code builder, is still on sale and bills per team: Explorer is $19 per month billed yearly or $25 billed monthly, Maker $49 or $60, and Business $199 or $249 with 30 users. If you searched for the Maker plan, that is Glide Classic Maker. Pick the product first. The prices follow.

GlideOS: five plans on one monthly bill, metered in credits

GlideOS bills an organization, with team members included in each plan; only GlideOS Pro adds a price per extra member. Credits are the meter. Glide defines one as a standardized unit of the LLM tokens its agent spends building software with you, and the organization draws from one shared pool. Glide says annual plans are coming soon, so today no GlideOS plan has a yearly price or discount [1]. The five plans differ in monthly credits, builders, live apps and how many extra credit bundles you may buy each month.

Toolkit tip
One price, two GlideOS plans

GlideOS Plus with 1,000 credits and GlideOS Pro with 5 team members and 500 credits both cost $125 per month. Choose Plus for credits, Pro for builders and Pro features.

How far a GlideOS credit allowance stretches

Building with the Glide Agent is only one drain. AI features inside your finished apps spend credits, workflow steps cost 0.1 credits each for the first 100 and less after that (Glide's example: a 500-step run costs 30 credits) [2], and every integration call costs 0.01 credits. The Balanced agent mode uses about three times the credits of Light, and Heavy about five times. Glide itself says credit use per message is not reliably predictable. Monthly credits reset each cycle with no carry-over, and once they run out new AI requests stop until the reset or a top-up.

Extra credits are one-time purchases on paid plans, last 12 months and are spent after the monthly allowance. Top-up prices are not published. Neither is the bundle size. By our arithmetic, every GlideOS Plus option costs $25 plus $0.10 per credit, so each extra 250 credits adds $25 a month and the price per included credit is $0.20 at 250 credits and about $0.103 at 10,000, against $0.25 on GlideOS Basic. On GlideOS Pro the average per member is $25.00 a month with 5 members and $10.75 with 100, by our arithmetic.

The real choice sits between Plus and Pro. The same $125 a month buys GlideOS Plus with 1,000 credits or GlideOS Pro with 5 members and 500 credits. By our arithmetic, GlideOS Pro with 5 members costs $50 a month more than GlideOS Plus with 500 credits, and that gap pays for two more builders, what the pricing table lists as unlimited apps and workflows, MCP and human support. The threshold is concrete. A fourth builder, a sixth live app, a sixth enabled workflow or a 21st project forces GlideOS Pro, as does needing a Pro-only feature such as MCP building, connection strings, premium integrations, org-level roles, 24-hour backups or human support. Below those lines, GlideOS Plus puts your money into credits.

⚠️
Watch out
Unused GlideOS credits vanish

GlideOS monthly credits reset every billing cycle and do not carry forward; only separately bought extra credits last 12 months, and only while a paid GlideOS subscription stays active.

Glide Classic, including the Maker plan people search for

Glide Classic runs on its own account with its own plans and two meters, users and updates, and Glide says it has no tool for moving Classic apps into GlideOS, a split our Glide review covers in depth. The pricing page groups the plans into a tab for individuals and one for businesses, with a Monthly or Yearly toggle [3]. Free is $0 and cannot publish, and Enterprise is a custom quote.

About these prices

Prices shown are what Glide lists for visitors in the United States, in US dollars. Your price can differ by country, currency and local taxes such as VAT.

Classic Explorer Classic Maker Classic Business
Classic price, billed yearly $19 per month $49 per month $199 per month
Classic price, billed monthly $25 per month $60 per month $249 per month
Users included 100 personal Unlimited personal 30
Updates a month 250 500 5,000
Published apps 1 3 Unlimited
Editors 2 2 10

Personal users are people who sign in with a personal or education address, such as Gmail or a .edu domain, and they are the only kind Explorer and Maker admit. Staff on a company domain need Business, which includes 30 users and charges $5 per additional user per month billed annually or $6 billed monthly. A Maker team can ask Glide to treat one email domain as personal, and users count per team, only when active during the billing period.

Maker earns its search volume because it is the cheapest Glide Classic tier that syncs Google Sheets both ways instead of importing a copy, on top of those unlimited personal users. Updates are the second meter: data changes, syncs from Google Sheets or Airtable, integration runs, Glide API calls and Glide AI all use them, while edits inside Glide Tables generally do not. By default a team cannot exceed its updates: at the limit Glide AI, workflows, third-party actions and Google Sheets, Airtable and Excel syncing pause. Turning on unlimited updates bills 2¢ per update above the allowance, so by our arithmetic 1,000 extra updates add $20 and 5,000 add $100.

Watch the Classic reminder emails

Glide Classic emails a team at 75%, 90% and 100% of its monthly updates, and a billing-page toggle can block overage charges altogether.

What the Save 20% toggle is worth on each Classic plan

Read the label carefully. The Glide Classic toggle advertises Save 20%, but the page shows no yearly totals, so these are ours. By our arithmetic, Glide Classic Explorer costs $228 a year billed yearly against $300 over 12 months of monthly billing, saving $72, or 24%. By our arithmetic, Glide Classic Maker comes to $588 against $720, saving $132, about 18.3%, and Glide Classic Business with 30 users to $2,388 against $2,988, saving $600, about 20.1%. Additional Business users cost $1 less per month on yearly billing, about 16.7%.

Seats widen the gap. By our arithmetic, Glide Classic Business with 40 users is $309 per month billed monthly, or $3,708 over 12 months, against $249 per month billed yearly, or $2,988 a year, saving $720. By our arithmetic, Glide Classic Business with 50 users is $369 per month billed monthly or $299 per month billed yearly, saving $840 a year. GlideOS has no such trade: by our arithmetic, 12 monthly payments of GlideOS Basic come to $300 and of GlideOS Plus with 1,000 credits to $1,500, with no reward for commitment, but you can leave at any renewal.

Refunds, trials and canceling follow different rules

Glide Classic is the forgiving product. Its pricing page promises a full refund within 14 days of the first subscription payment. The free 14-day trial covers Business only, needs a credit or debit card, charges nothing during the trial and renews into paid Business unless you cancel, with a reminder seven days before the end. Each team gets one trial; Maker and Enterprise have none. Canceling returns the team to Free, where paid-plan features stop working. Both free tiers are covered in is Glide free.

GlideOS is stricter. Its Terms of Service, last modified in July 2026, say subscription fees and credit purchases are non-refundable except where the law requires, with no prorated refund for an unused period [4]. Downgrades wait for the renewal, and after a cancellation paid credits expire when the period ends. Glide publishes no free trial of a paid GlideOS plan and says you can try GlideOS on the Free plan. Glide Classic's FAQ says it offers no nonprofit discount, and none is published for GlideOS.

Glide's bill beside other AI app builders

Every rival meters something different, so unit prices never translate. Softr charges per workspace, with Basic at $25 per month billed monthly or $19 per month billed annually, and gives non-profits and education institutions 50% off. Lovable Pro with 100 credits is $25 per month billed monthly or $21 per month billed annually. Bubble prices each app, with Web Starter at $32 per month billed annually or $39 billed monthly. All three offer a yearly term, which GlideOS lacks for now and Glide Classic has. Our Glide alternatives guide weighs each rival in detail.

Frequently asked questions

Do people who only use a GlideOS app need a paid seat?+

No. GlideOS guests use published apps without taking a team-member seat and are unlimited on Basic, Plus and Pro, but admins can invite only 10 new guests every 30 days (3 per member on Pro and Enterprise).

Is VAT included in Glide Classic prices?+

No. The Glide Classic pricing page says applicable VAT is added at checkout; a valid VAT ID applies the reverse charge instead.

How can I pay for GlideOS?+

GlideOS takes credit cards, Cash App Pay and Link, processed through Stripe.

Can I keep an old Glide Classic plan?+

Paid users on Glide Classic plans from before November 2024 could keep them, but any plan change loses the old plan permanently.

The bottom line

GlideOS pricing is simple to read and hard to forecast. The plan ladder is clear, but credits fund building, in-app AI, workflow steps and integration calls, the monthly pool resets with no carry-over, and the Terms make fees and credits non-refundable except where the law requires. Start on a GlideOS Plus tier with headroom, watch usage through the first cycle, and move to GlideOS Pro when a fourth builder, a sixth live app or workflow, or a Pro-only feature such as MCP, connection strings or human support demands it. Glide Classic is the steadier bill, metered in users and 2¢ updates, with a 14-day refund window and a real, if uneven, yearly saving.
