Tools that do it

Each one's way of doing it, and the point where it stops.

Kit Does it

Kit documents how to authenticate a verified sending domain and add a DMARC record, keeps double opt-in on by default, and verifies every new account before it can send. Where it stops: Deliverability reporting by mailbox provider and engagement scoring need Pro; the custom domain needs Creator.

MailerLite Does it

The Clean up inactive tab removes people who stopped opening in one step, MailerCheck flags role-based, disposable and mistyped addresses, and forms can require double opt-in. Where it stops: Account-review criteria are not published; a dedicated IP is only an Enterprise add-on.

Brevo Partly

Brevo publishes when sending stops: a campaign over 2% hard bounces, 1% unsubscribes or 0.2% complaints. A first suspension can be lifted from the Deliverability center. Where it stops: A second suspension cannot be reactivated; advanced reports need Standard.

Domain authentication is done with you in the live 1:1 onboarding session included on every plan, and a bounce report shows which addresses failed. Where it stops: No free plan; moving to another platform later means rebuilding sending reputation.

Beehiiv Partly

On Lite and Pro you connect a custom domain with sending authentication; suppressed addresses are filtered at send, and Beehiiv publishes its complaint-rate guidance. Where it stops: Free cannot add a new custom domain; suppressed addresses may still show as active until deleted.

Mailchimp Partly

Addresses that hard bounce or soft bounce repeatedly become Cleaned automatically and get no more email; you archive or delete inactive contacts yourself. Where it stops: Cleaning happens only after a send, and the bounces still count against your sending domain; unsubscribed contacts are not removed automatically.

Inbox preview tests and a spam check before sending let you test a campaign first; the sending domain must be verified before even trial test emails go out. Where it stops: No free plan; inbox preview tests are not listed on Starter.
