Gorgias integrations all come from one App Store that every plan can open, but what an app can actually do depends on your store platform and your plan. Admins install apps on Starter and up, each listing says whether Gorgias or another company built it, and third-party apps set their own prices, from free to paid.[1] The real gates sit underneath. Shopify gets order actions and AI Agent. BigCommerce needs Basic. Magento 2 needs Pro and has no built-in order actions, and WooCommerce shows data only. So connect the store first, add apps by job, and build the gaps with HTTP integrations.
Step 1: Open the App Store and read the builder label
The App Store sits under Settings and is open on every plan to Admin roles, sorted into categories such as ecommerce, shipping, marketing, loyalty and analytics. Gorgias says its app store page lists 100+ apps. Gorgias reviews every app before it is listed, but the builder label decides who helps you when something breaks: Gorgias supports the apps it built, and third-party developers support theirs. Gorgias warns that partner-built integrations can mean longer waits on technical issues. Read the label before you install.
Email is the one connection that changes with your plan. A direct Gmail or Outlook integration works on Basic and Pro for teams sending fewer than 500 emails a day, and it can import 2 years of email history. Advanced and Enterprise accounts must use automatic forwarding, which works on every plan. Gorgias has no spam filter of its own. With a direct integration spam lands in the Spam view, while forwarding keeps it out entirely. Pick the route before you connect apps that send email on your behalf.
When an admin deletes an app, the views that use it are deactivated and rules that use it as a condition are turned off. Export or note those views and rules first.
Step 2: Connect your store platform first
The store connection decides everything downstream. Shopify is the Gorgias-built, every-plan integration and the one AI Agent requires. The sidebar shows the shopper's 10 most recent orders, and agents can create, duplicate, edit, cancel and refund orders, edit a shipping address that is written back to Shopify, send one-time discount codes and sync customer notes both ways. Gift cards from a macro need Shopify Plus. Revenue statistics need Pro. Our Gorgias for Shopify guide covers the order-edit limits in depth.
| Platform | Lowest Gorgias plan | Order actions inside Gorgias | AI Agent and Order Management |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shopify | Starter (every plan) | Create, duplicate, edit, cancel, refund | Yes, with an AI Agent subscription |
| BigCommerce | Basic | Create, duplicate, refund | No (Flows only) |
| Magento 2 | Pro | None built in | No (Flows only) |
| WooCommerce | Starter (every plan) | None | No |
On BigCommerce, agents create draft or paid orders and can share the draft cart URL with the shopper. One Gorgias account can hold several BigCommerce stores, but each store connects to only one Gorgias account. Magento 2 starts with the Gorgias extension installed through Composer from the Magento Marketplace, then a one-click or manual connection using a consumer key, consumer secret and access tokens. The sidebar shows profiles, orders, shipments and credit memos. Built-in macro actions do not work, because every Magento setup is custom, so cancels and refunds go through an HTTP hook to the Magento API or a custom widget. Tracking URLs are generated only for USPS, UPS, FedEx and Canada Post.
That Magento gate carries a cost. Pro is $360 a month billed monthly or $300 a month billed annually ($3,600 a year).[2] The plan price covers the account, and the bill grows with ticket volume at $0.36 per ticket past Pro's 2,000 a month; our Gorgias pricing breakdown has the full meter. WooCommerce stays read-only: profiles and orders in the sidebar, several stores allowed, no order actions, no rule conditions and no automation features, with variables typed by hand. PrestaShop connects through a partner module from BlueAnt that can cancel and refund orders.
Step 3: Turn subscription, returns and shipping apps into Actions
Subscription and logistics apps do two jobs: they put data in the sidebar, and on Shopify they feed AI Agent Actions. The Recharge integration, built with Recharge, shows subscriptions and lets agents cancel or reactivate them and refund charges partly or fully. Its macro actions cancel the last subscription, reactivate it, refund the last charge or refund the last order. Orders placed through Recharge must be cancelled on the Recharge order, not the Shopify one. Macros with Shopify, Recharge or webhook actions cannot run inside Rules.
Loop Returns, built by a partner, shows refund status, shipping status and return reasons. With Order Management, which needs an AI Agent subscription and Shopify, shoppers who start a return in chat, the Help Center or the contact form land in the Loop portal already logged in. Loop Subscriptions requires a Pro plan on Loop's side. Skio works with Shopify only and installs through OAuth2.
Connecting an app adds its actions to the AI Agent library automatically. Documented connections cover Shopify, Recharge, Skio, Loop Subscriptions, Loop Returns, ShipStation, ShipBob, ShipHero and ShipMonk. Actions need Basic or higher with AI Agent; Starter can buy AI Agent but gets no Actions. Basic with AI Agent is $90 a month billed monthly or $77 a month billed annually. Each AI Agent resolution also counts as a billable helpdesk ticket, and past the 30 included interactions a month each one costs $1.50.
The limits are specific. Most Recharge and Skio actions run only when the shopper has a single subscription. With several, AI Agent hands over. Warehouse cancels in ShipBob, ShipHero and ShipMonk work only before the order ships, and they do not refund the shopper, so pair them with the Cancel Shopify order action. ShipStation keys generated for this connection expire after 12 months. The ShipBob sidebar pulls only 1 month of order history.
A ShipBob, ShipHero or ShipMonk cancel does not refund the shopper. Add the Cancel Shopify order action to the same skill or guidance so the refund happens too.
Step 4: Route SMS, review, phone and marketplace messages into the inbox
Klaviyo works in both directions. Gorgias sends Opened ticket, Resolved ticket and Satisfaction survey responded events to Klaviyo for segments, Klaviyo Reviews opens a ticket for ratings of 3 stars or below by default, and Klaviyo SMS replies become tickets for recipients in the US, Canada and Australia. The old Klaviyo integration has been unsupported since March 15, 2022. Attentive tickets arrive through the email channel with an Attentive tag, so exclude that tag from email auto-reply Rules. Those replies never reach the shopper.
Postscript needs the shopper to text first and ignores auto-reply Rules, though tag and assign Rules work. Omnisend's SMS link is US only. Yotpo now covers reviews and loyalty only, since its SMS and Email products were sunset, and needs Yotpo Premium. Judge.me serves Shopify, Shopify Plus and BigCommerce and pulls only reviews posted after setup. For phones, Aircall and RingCentral (through Zapier) log calls as tickets that are not billable unless you reply from the helpdesk, and neither lets agents answer texts from Gorgias. ChannelReply brings Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, Back Market and Newegg messages in with order details. Always reply from Gorgias.
Every one of these channels feeds the ticket meter. A ticket becomes billable once someone replies from the helpdesk, and it counts once however many messages follow. If review and SMS apps push an account on the 300-ticket plan to 400 replied tickets in a month, the bill goes from $60 to $100 a month on monthly billing, by our arithmetic, at $0.40 a ticket. At 1,050 tickets a month, that plan plus overage reaches the $360 monthly price of the next plan up. Count them before you connect.
Step 5: Build missing links with HTTP integrations and widgets
When no app exists, an HTTP integration fills the gap. It works on every plan, owners and admins manage it, and it calls any URL with GET, POST, PUT or DELETE on events such as ticket created, ticket updated, message created, ticket self-unsnoozed and message failed (the API reference also lists assignee updated, status updated and ticket handed over).[3] Each request has a 5-second timeout. Gorgias retries up to 3 times, after 10, 20 and 40 seconds, only in some failure cases and never on a 429 or 500 response. After 500 consecutive failures the integration is switched off automatically. Monitor the endpoint.
Widgets show that data in the ticket sidebar, with buttons and links that call external URLs. A widget appears only when the customer has data in the connected app, and standalone widgets run custom actions with no integration behind them. Macros can read the same data through the ticket.customer.integrations path and fire their own HTTP hooks, for example to award LoyaltyLion points or add a shopper to a Klaviyo list. The Zapier app, developed by Gorgias, creates tickets and messages from events in other apps. HubSpot connects through a partner-built HTTP integration that shows lead details in the sidebar, which matters because Gorgias is a help desk, not a CRM. Public apps for the App Store must use OAuth2 and pass a Gorgias review; our Gorgias API guide walks through the rest.
An HTTP widget appears only when the ticket's customer has data in the connected app. Test with a shopper who exists in both systems before you assume it is broken.
Step 6: Check support coverage and retired apps before launch
Support coverage is a plan feature for some apps. Anyone can install Slack, LoyaltyLion, Mailchimp, Growave or RingCentral, but Gorgias gives setup and troubleshooting help for them only on Advanced or higher. Slack also has a narrow trigger set, Ticket Created, Ticket Updated and Ticket Message Created, so its notifications cannot be filtered by tag or channel. On lower plans, the app developer is your help line.
Retired apps need a plan too. The Gorgias-built TikTok Shop app was sunset on October 30, 2026, because TikTok Shop has offered its own native integration since April 2026.[4] The old app left the App Store and stopped syncing new messages and orders, while existing tickets and history stay in Gorgias. Install TikTok Shop's native integration instead. Then do a last pass on everything you connected: who built it, which plan it needs, and whether its tickets will get replies.
Frequently asked questions
Which Gorgias role can trigger integration actions such as a Shopify refund?+
The Basic user role is the first role that can trigger integration actions like Shopify refunds from a ticket. Installing apps from the App Store is limited to admins.
Does deleting a customer in Gorgias also delete them in Shopify or Klaviyo?+
No. Deleting a customer profile in Gorgias does not delete it in integrated apps such as Shopify, Smile or Klaviyo, and it does not remove information left in internal notes.
Can one Gorgias account connect several stores?+
Yes. Gorgias can connect several Shopify, BigCommerce or Magento 2 stores, and WooCommerce allows multiple stores too. A BigCommerce store can belong to only one Gorgias account, and deleting a store removes all its related integrations and data from the helpdesk.
How do I build a public app for the Gorgias App Store?+
Register on the developer portal, create a draft app, get a sandbox account through techpartners@gorgias.com, set up OAuth2, then submit the app for review. Approved apps are listed in both the in-product and the public App Store.
The bottom line
Gorgias integrations reward Shopify stores most. Shopify gets order actions, AI Agent Actions through subscription and shipping apps, and the deepest sidebar, while BigCommerce needs Basic, Magento 2 needs Pro with no built-in order actions, and WooCommerce stays read-only. Set up in this order: store, email route, job-specific apps, then HTTP integrations for the gaps. Before each install, check the builder label, the plan gate and how many replied tickets the app will add, because every connected channel feeds the same ticket meter.
