Lovable has a free plan at $0, and paid plans start at $25 per month billed monthly for Pro with 100 credits, or $21 per month billed annually. Business with 100 credits costs $50 per month billed monthly or $42 per month billed annually. Every one of those prices covers a whole workspace, not a seat: the paid cards list unlimited users, so a team of eight pays what a solo founder pays. Credits are what move the bill. Each option sets the monthly credits a workspace receives, from 100 to 10,000, and one balance pays for building, hosting, the backend and AI features inside your apps.[1] Enterprise is quote only. Start small, watch the burn, then size up.

Four plans, and the unit is the workspace

Free asks for no credit card. It gives 5 build credits a day up to 30 a month, plus 20 Cloud credits, 4 AI credits and 1 connector credit a month, and it can publish to a lovable.app address either publicly or invite-only for up to 10 people per project. Our guide to the free plan covers its limits in detail. Pro adds custom domains, badge removal, code editing, rollovers, top-ups, user roles, per-member credit limits, design systems and email support. Business layers on SSO, workspace publishing, role-based access, the security center, design templates and priority support.

Enterprise is a platform fee plus volume-based pricing, sold through a demo. It also drops the free grants, daily build credits, rollovers and top-ups that the self-serve plans carry. One caution about the unit: a plan belongs to one workspace, so an agency running three workspaces needs three subscriptions. Below are the eleven credit options for each self-serve paid plan, as the pricing page lists them in November 2026, per workspace.

About these prices

Prices shown are what Lovable lists for visitors in the United States, in US dollars. Your price can differ by country, currency and local taxes such as VAT.

Monthly credits Pro, billed monthly Pro, per month billed annually Business, billed monthly Business, per month billed annually
100 $25 / month $21 / month $50 / month $42 / month
200 $50 / month $42 / month $100 / month $84 / month
400 $100 / month $84 / month $200 / month $167 / month
800 $200 / month $167 / month $400 / month $334 / month
1,200 $294 / month $245 / month $588 / month $490 / month
2,000 $480 / month $400 / month $960 / month $800 / month
3,000 $705 / month $588 / month $1,410 / month $1,175 / month
4,000 $920 / month $767 / month $1,840 / month $1,534 / month
5,000 $1,125 / month $938 / month $2,250 / month $1,875 / month
7,500 $1,688 / month $1,407 / month $3,300 / month $2,750 / month
10,000 $2,250 / month $1,875 / month $4,300 / month $3,584 / month

Read the menu as a list of fixed stops. Up to 800 credits each step simply doubles, but above that the curve bends, so never estimate a price between two options; only the listed sizes exist. The annual column also hides a detail. An annual plan is one charge equal to ten monthly payments, and the card shows that charge divided by twelve, rounded up. Credits still arrive month by month on annual billing.

What one credit actually buys

Build mode charges for the work done, and many small requests cost less than a credit. The pricing page gives four examples: turning a button gray costs 0.50 credits, removing a footer 0.90, adding sign-up and login 1.20, and building a landing page with images 1.70. Plan mode costs 1 credit per message plus any subagent research, and the plan it writes is billed separately once Build implements it. There is no upfront estimate. You see each message's cost afterward in the message history.

Failed attempts are charged too. The Terms say credits are consumed by each AI action regardless of outcome and are not restored when output must be regenerated, and reverting a version refunds nothing.[2] A beta feature called credit check-ins pauses a long message at 20 credits by default, adjustable upward, and stopping a request charges only the work completed. Fix loops are where budgets leak.

The daily grant matters more than it looks. Pro and Business get the same 5 build credits a day as Free, on top of plan credits and without the 30-a-month cap, except on some regional plans. By our arithmetic that is up to 150 extra build credits in a 30-day month. The catch is timing: they reset at 00:00 UTC, never roll over and cannot pay for Cloud usage, so they reward steady daily work rather than a weekend sprint.

Measure burn before sizing up

Hover the three dots on each message to see what it cost. A few weeks on Pro with 100 credits billed monthly shows which menu option your work actually needs.

The same balance also runs your live app. Hosting, the built-in backend and AI features draw credits as visitors use them, after the monthly Cloud and AI grants are spent, so traffic spends the owner's credits even on days when nobody on the team builds anything. Lovable's pricing page says (November 2026) that most small or new apps cost nothing beyond the Cloud grant, while apps with significant traffic draw on the credit balance. Our Lovable Cloud guide explains instance sizes and what pushes that cost up.

Business credits cost twice as much

Moving to Business does not buy cheaper building. A Business credit costs exactly twice a Pro credit at every option from 100 to 5,000 credits, on monthly prices and on annual charges (the rounded per-month figures on the Yearly cards can differ by a dollar), and slightly less than twice at 7,500 and 10,000. On monthly billing the per-credit price stays flat up to 800 credits, at $0.25 on Pro and $0.50 on Business, then eases off: Pro reaches $0.225 from 5,000 credits, and Business reaches $0.43 at 10,000.

Lovable's pricing FAQ explains the gap. Run and AI usage costs the same dollars on both plans, but because Business credits are priced higher, a Business workspace shows fewer credits spent on hosting and AI. Managed connectors follow the same pattern, with Perplexity search at 20 credits per 1,000 searches on Pro and 10 on Business. Lovable does not publish whether a Build message uses fewer credits on Business. So assume it does not.

That makes Business a governance purchase. You pay for SSO, workspace publishing, the security center, a Data Processing Agreement and priority support. Data handling also differs: since September 2026, Free and Pro content may help train Lovable's models unless each user opts out, while Business is excluded by default. If none of that matters, the same credit count costs half as much on Pro at most menu options. Pro with 400 credits costs $100 per month billed monthly, and so does Business with 200 credits.

Monthly or annual: the nine-month line

Annual billing gives two months free and nothing else in the price. By our arithmetic, Pro with 100 credits costs $300 a year billed monthly against a single $250 charge billed annually, a $50 saving; Pro with 800 credits saves $400, with $2,400 billed monthly against $2,000 billed annually. Because the annual charge equals ten monthly payments, paying monthly only wins if you stop within nine months. The annual fee is charged up front and is not refundable.

Rollover is the second difference, and it favors annual buyers with lumpy months. On monthly billing, unused plan credits expire two months after they were issued, which is one month of rollover. On annual billing, monthly credits keep rolling until one month after the annual period ends.[3] Rolled-over credits keep their original expiry, and daily credits never carry over. Changing size is gentle: Free to paid grants the full allocation, and a higher paid option grants only the difference, so 100 to 200 credits adds 100.

⚠️
Watch out
Visitors spend your credits

Hosting, the built-in backend and AI features of a live app draw on the same workspace balance as building. At zero the backend pauses until the owner clicks Wake up, even after a top-up.

Running out, and what a top-up costs

Top-ups exist on Pro and Business only. Pro top-ups cost $15 per 50 credits, or $0.30 per credit, and Business top-ups cost $30 per 50 credits, or $0.60 per credit, the same on monthly and annual billing.[4] Packs run from 50 to 10,000 credits and stay valid for 12 months. Auto top-up, when switched on, buys 100 credits by default once the balance drops below 25, within a default 400-credit monthly spend limit; the amount, threshold and limit are all adjustable.

Packs are the dearest credits on the page. A Pro top-up credit at $0.30 sits above the $0.25 plan credit of Pro with 100 credits billed monthly. Even so, a small pack now and then can cost less than a bigger plan: moving up one menu option pays off only when what you spend on top-ups each month exceeds the price step to that option. Upgrading from Pro to Business pauses auto top-up because the credit price changes. Packs do have one advantage: their 12-month life outlasts the monthly-billing rollover window, where plan credits expire two months after issue, and they survive a cancellation.

At zero, building stops and a running message pauses. Published pages keep serving. AI features in deployed apps return errors, and apps on the built-in backend pause their database, logins and storage, with data kept. A top-up alone does not restart that backend: the owner has to click Wake up. Per-member limits will not prevent this, since they count build credits only and cannot cap what an app spends.

💡
Toolkit tip
Plan first, build second

Plan mode costs 1 credit per message plus any subagent research, and the build it leads to is billed separately. A plan pays off when the failed Build attempt it prevents would cost more than that message.

Canceling, refunds and discounts

To cancel, open Workspace settings, then Plans and credit usage, choose Manage and select Downgrade to free. There is no cancel button and no need to contact support, and the mobile app cannot cancel a plan. The paid plan runs to the end of the current period. Subscription fees and credits are non-refundable except where the law requires it, and canceling does not refund the current period.

Leftover credits stay usable until that period ends. Then unexpired plan and rollover credits freeze, and they come back if the workspace subscribes again before their expiry date. Top-up and referral bonus credits stay usable on Free. Published apps stay live after a downgrade, but anything on the built-in backend or using AI still needs credits to serve visitors, and the hidden badge returns on the next publish.

There is no free trial of Pro or Business. The one standing discount is for verified students and teachers: 50% off Pro with 100 credits billed monthly, $12.50 a month instead of $25, for up to 12 months, and only for a workspace still on the Free plan, once per person. Our full review weighs whether the product earns the subscription.

Frequently asked questions

Does Lovable charge per user?+

No. Pro, Business and Enterprise list unlimited users per workspace, but each workspace needs its own subscription, and on Free and Pro up to 200 members can hold owner, admin or editor roles.

Are taxes included in Lovable's prices?+

Sales tax, VAT or GST is added at checkout where it is not already included. Subscriptions and top-ups are processed through Stripe, and owners and admins manage billing in the Stripe billing portal.

Can I subscribe from the Lovable iOS app?+

Yes, but plans bought in the iOS app go through the App Store, cover one month and do not renew automatically. Apple handles those purchases.

Does Lovable publish an Enterprise price?+

No. Enterprise is a platform fee plus volume-based pricing agreed with sales, invoiced annually in advance, and it renews for 12-month periods unless notice is given at least 3 months before the term ends.

The bottom line

Lovable's pricing is fair to teams and unforgiving to careless prompting. One workspace price covers everyone, the daily grant adds real headroom on paid plans, and annual billing returns two months plus a longer rollover window. The risks sit in the credit meter: failed attempts cost credits, visitors spend the same balance, and Business doubles the price of each credit in exchange for controls. Start on Pro with 100 credits billed monthly, read the per-message costs for a few weeks, then choose your option and term.
