Yes, Krisp has a call center product, and it is not the meeting app with a new label. Krisp sells Call Center AI as its own line, priced per agent: CC Core costs $15 per agent per month, billed annually, for agent and customer noise cancellation, agent voice isolation, after-call summaries, SSO and SCIM and real-time monitoring [1]. CC Advanced adds two-way accent conversion, speech analytics and agent assist, has no published price, and can be evaluated for 14 days. For BPOs on mixed softphones the fit is strong, since Krisp runs on the agent's computer with no telephony integration.
Why the meeting plans do not stretch to an agent floor
Krisp keeps three product lines apart: the AI Meeting Assistant for office teams, Call Center AI for BPOs and contact centers, and developer SDKs and APIs. The split is contractual too. Call Center AI has its own privacy policy, folded into Krisp's Master Subscription Agreement. Organizations, voice translation, speech analytics, agent assist and Voice Security all belong to the call center line, and none appears on the meeting plans. Two meeting-plan limits show the gap. Meeting AI accent conversion is capped at 1 hour per day on Core, shared by both sides, and 4 hours per day on the speaker side on Advanced.
Across an eight-hour shift, by our arithmetic, even the higher cap covers half the day. Meeting AI also reserves SSO and SCIM for its Enterprise plan, while Krisp's call center security page says both are included from CC Core [2]. So a meeting subscription is the wrong purchase for agents. Our Krisp pricing guide covers the meeting-side plans for anyone weighing the two lines against each other.
What CC Core and CC Advanced put on each headset
| Call Center AI tier | Published price | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| CC Core | $15 per agent per month, billed annually | Agent and customer noise cancellation, agent voice isolation, after-call summary, SSO and SCIM, usage analytics, real-time monitoring, organization view |
| CC Advanced | No published price; 14-day evaluation | Agent and customer accent conversion, speech analytics, agent assist (live captions, Knowledge Chat, voice macros) |
| Add-ons | No published price | Voice translation (60+ languages); Voice Security (early access) |
Noise handling on the floor has four parts: noise cancellation, agent voice isolation, customer noise cancellation and echo cancellation. By default, Krisp Microphone removes background voices around the agent once a compatible headset is connected, while Krisp Speaker keeps the customer-side voices and cleans the noise. Admins can add Customer Voice Isolation to filter secondary voices on the customer side, at some extra CPU cost. The security page says this audio is processed in memory on the device and discarded. Admins can enforce microphone cancellation so agents cannot switch it off, set the customer side to Always ON or Always OFF, and choose Auto, CPU-optimized or User Choice mode for older machines.
Accent conversion runs in both directions
Accent conversion is the CC Advanced feature most BPOs ask about. Agent accent packs cover Indian, Filipino, LatAm, African, Middle Eastern and Pakistani English, with US or British English output, although Krisp's help says Latin American and other accents convert to US English only. The customer side uses one universal model with US English output, which Krisp's call center security page labels beta. Agent conversion needs only Krisp Microphone. Customer conversion needs only Krisp Speaker. Our accent conversion guide covers the meeting-app version and its daily caps.
One design choice shapes your team map. The source accent is a team-level setting, so agents with different accents need separate teams, and Krisp warns that a wrong source accent can produce robotic output. A site mixing Filipino and Indian agents on one queue therefore runs two teams in the Admin Portal. Plan this before rollout. British English output is switched on through the Account Executive or Customer Engineering, not from a toggle the admin controls alone.
In Call Center AI the source accent is a team-level setting, so put agents with different accents in separate teams before rollout to avoid robotic output.
The supervisor's day: analytics, monitoring and audit trails
Speech analytics scores every call right after it ends, with a transcript, an optional recording and a searchable, timestamped event log in the Admin Portal. It needs no CCaaS integration, because capture happens on the agent's device. QA staff can verify and override automated scores, and compliance rules have no cap. Dispositions start empty: admins upload a CSV of up to four nested levels, shared with agent assist. Recording is off by default. Retention for transcripts and recordings is set from 7 to 360 days.
Agent screen recording is the exception to watch. When switched on, it captures every connected display into one silent video, keeps it for 7, 30 or 90 days, and sits outside PII redaction, so customer data visible in the CRM is captured too. During live calls, agent assist gives agents captions of customer speech, Knowledge Chat with citations from an admin-controlled Knowledge Hub or a Zendesk knowledge base, and voice macros for compliance disclosures. Calls under 30 seconds or not in English are not analyzed.
Live Monitoring, audit logs and Organizations
Live Monitoring shows each agent as online, offline or unavailable, and as Ready, In Call or Unhealthy. It needs Krisp app 2.73.5 or later and port 443 open to websocket.krisp.ai and analytics.krisp.ai [3]. Devices silent for 72 hours drop off the list until they reconnect. Audit Logs record who changed what, in UTC, from transcript exports and deletions to live session views and user changes. Krisp notes that entries may be delayed and that its list of tracked actions is not complete.
Multi-site operators get Organizations. Your Account Executive provisions the first team; creating a second one creates an Organization with two roles, Org Admin with full access including billing and Org Analyst with read-only analytics. Seats come from a shared pool and are allocated per team, and org-level policies, SSO included, can override team settings. Teams log in by email or by device. Device-based login suits shared workstations where the seat follows the desk.
In Call Center AI, PII redaction is not applied to calls that include voice translation, and it does not cover agent screen recordings, which capture whatever is on screen.
Translation and Voice Security come with conditions
Voice translation is two-way, real-time speech-to-speech across 60+ languages (61 listed), installed once on the agent's device. It runs in Krisp's cloud, encrypted, and is not stored by default unless Accuracy QA is enabled. Plan for bandwidth: about 130 kbps minimum and 170 kbps recommended per user. Krisp says translation is about ten times cheaper than interpreter services (November 2026); check that against your invoices. Teams building their own voice products can use the developer Voice Translation API instead, whose Starter plan costs $249 per month billed monthly.
Voice Security is listed as early access (November 2026), and its form only adds you to a waiting list [4]. It bundles deepfake detection, fraud detection on the live transcript and agent voice verification, each toggled team-wide. Deepfake detection analyzes caller speech in 4-second chunks in the cloud without storing it. It flags risk and leaves call handling to your procedures. Agent voice verification needs each agent's consent and stores a numeric voiceprint, not recordings. Alerts can go to a SIEM platform or a Microsoft Teams channel.
Krisp lists Voice Security (deepfake detection, fraud detection, agent voice verification) as an early-access Call Center AI add-on (November 2026), with no published price.
Rollout notes for IT: devices, CCaaS, identity, compliance
Call Center AI runs on Windows, macOS and IGEL thin clients. On IGEL, Krisp's blog lists a minimum of an AMD Ryzen Embedded R1305G with 4 GB of RAM, deployed centrally through IGEL Universal Management Suite rather than device by device. Because Krisp works as two virtual audio devices, almost any softphone qualifies. One caution applies. Aggressive automatic gain control in browsers or softphones can hurt noise cancellation and accent conversion, so test each client's softphone during the pilot.
Web-based agent desktops need the Krisp CX Bridge, a Chrome and Edge extension that tells the app when calls start and end. It supports Genesys Cloud, AWS Connect, NICE CXone and Five9, and IT can force-install it through Chrome Admin Console, Edge admin center or Group Policy. Admins can also restrict calling apps: there, accent conversion, translation, agent assist and speech analytics switch off while noise cancellation keeps working. The Portal API at teams.krisp.ai manages seats, users, devices, analytics and audit logs.
Identity runs on SAML 2.0. Krisp's Call Center AI help documents SSO and SCIM with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID and JumpCloud, plus Google Workspace for SSO without SCIM. An org-level policy can be Off, Enabled or Enforced. For regulated queues, the security page says HIPAA safeguards apply and Business Associate Agreements are available on request. It also says names, card numbers and other personal data are removed on the device before cloud processing, a redaction setting that admins control in the Admin Portal. Krisp says it holds PCI DSS v4.0.1 certification.
Web-based agent desktops on Genesys Cloud, AWS Connect, NICE CXone or Five9 need the Krisp CX Bridge extension, which IT can push through Chrome Admin Console, Edge admin center or Group Policy.
Reading the case studies before a 14-day evaluation
A Krisp-published case study says TTEC's NPS rose from 74 to 85 and its sales conversions rose 26% with noise cancellation and accent conversion (November 2026). Another Krisp-published case study says Everise cut average handle time by up to 10% across four countries (November 2026), and a third says Automated Health Systems cut handle time 31% with voice translation (November 2026). None is an independent measurement. Treat them as hypotheses. Pick one queue, record baseline handle time and CSAT, and enable only what you would pay for.
The published tier is easy to budget: by our arithmetic, CC Core comes to $180 per agent a year billed annually, so $9,000 a year for 50 agents and $18,000 a year for 100 agents on the same annual billing. Advanced features and add-ons sit on top at prices only sales will quote. Krisp's help describes voice translation as usage-based, so ask how translated minutes are billed. Ask for that quote early. A 14-day window is short, and a pilot that proves accent conversion works is little use if the CC Advanced price breaks the per-seat budget your client contract allows.
Frequently asked questions
Can we cover agents with Krisp's Meeting AI plans instead of Call Center AI?+
Not for the call center features. Voice translation, speech analytics, agent assist, Voice Security and Organizations belong to Call Center AI, which is priced per agent and sold separately from the Meeting AI plans.
How do agents pick up a setting an admin just changed?+
In Call Center AI, agents click Sync in the Krisp app to pull the new configuration, and Krisp's help says not to do it during an active call.
Can the custom vocabulary be tuned for our industry?+
Yes. Krisp's Call Center AI help lists Universal, Healthcare, Insurance, Finance, Travel and Retail vocabularies, and the team custom vocabulary allows 200 entries per language for voice translation, speech analytics, live captions and agent assist.
Does Krisp keep the customer's audio from noise cancellation?+
Krisp's call center security page says noise cancellation audio is processed in memory on the agent's device, never stored in the cloud, and discarded.
The bottom line
Krisp's Call Center AI suits BPOs and contact centers that want noise cancellation and accent conversion done on the agent's device, with voice translation added from Krisp's cloud, across whatever softphone each client uses. CC Core costs $15 per agent per month, billed annually, and covers clean audio, monitoring and SSO. The features that justify a large rollout, from two-way accent conversion to speech analytics, sit on CC Advanced or add-ons without public prices, and Voice Security is still early access.
