Replit prices by account, not seat. The free Starter plan costs $0. Core is $20 per month billed monthly or $18 per month billed annually, with $20 of usage credits each month. Pro starts at $100 per month, billed monthly, or $90 per month billed annually, for $100 of credits, and four larger credit options run up to $2,050 per month billed monthly for $2,500 of credits. Enterprise is a custom quote. Those credits are dollars, and one balance pays for Agent, hosting and databases; anything beyond it is billed pay-as-you-go unless you cap it. Core fits a solo builder, while Pro pays off through its team and safety features rather than through cheaper credits at its entry option.

There is no time-limited trial of Core or Pro, and Starter does not appear on the pricing page at all; its terms sit in Replit's plan documentation. Starter gives daily Agent credits up to a monthly cap, Lite build only and one published app that carries the Made with Replit badge and whose link goes down after 30 days, as our guide to the free plan explains. Paying is what unlocks Full build, Plan Mode, connectors, AI Integrations and more than one live app.

The price list, option by option

Replit's pricing page has a Monthly and a Yearly toggle, and the Pro card hides a menu of five credit options[1]. Every figure below is per account, and credits arrive monthly on both terms, annual billing included. The last column copies the green labels printed on the cards; a later section explains why they are not the saving most readers assume. Tax is added depending on where you live.

Core is pitched at personal projects and simple apps. Its card promises up to 30 hours of chat and up to 60 projects on Free Mode, unlimited workspaces and AI integrations, and the plan lets you invite up to five builders without a separate team subscription. Pro adds more Free Mode usage, premium support, up to 15 builders sharing one pool of credits with no per-user fees, Replit says, and the option of a database restore window of up to 28 days instead of seven. Only Pro accounts can opt out of AI training on their content.

Enterprise has no list price. Since May 2026 an organization can buy it online by choosing an annual credit commitment, where each dollar becomes a dollar of pooled credits, seats are unlimited by default and payment is annual and upfront. Deals above $200K in spend, or contracts with custom terms, still go through sales. This tier holds SSO, SCIM, audit logs and invoice billing, and it swaps Free Mode for a single Auto mode.

Dollars, not tokens: how Replit credits are spent

A Replit credit is one dollar of usage. The same balance pays for building with Agent, hosting, database storage and compute, network transfer and the AI models an app calls through AI Integrations. That makes it a different unit from the credits Lovable or Base44 sell, so per-credit comparisons across those products are meaningless; our Lovable pricing breakdown treats that model on its own terms. Core credits reset on your renewal date and never carry over. On Pro, unused monthly credits roll over for two months[2].

Agent work is priced by effort. A request that keeps Agent busy longer spends more, so a complex feature costs more than a text tweak, and Replit publishes no fixed price per prompt. Billing happens per checkpoint, at most one per request, and long chats in big projects cost more because more context travels with every message. Plan Mode is billed too. The only figures on record are dated: simple changes typically cost under $0.25, Replit said in June 2025. Each checkpoint shows its cost in the Agent tab.

Free Mode softens this. Since August 2026 it lets Starter, Core and Pro accounts chat and build without spending credits, inside an allowance that on Core and Pro resets every five hours under a weekly limit; Replit asks before any request escalates to paid models. One rule catches teams out, though. Collaborators' Agent work counts against the project owner's credits, and so does everything a published app consumes, from compute and requests to the production database and AI calls. Visitors never pay Replit. The owner does.

Toolkit tip
Set the budget before building

A Replit budget is a hard cap that also suspends hosting and databases when reached, so set it above your normal hosting use and add a usage alert below it for early warning.

Running past your credits: packs, overage and budgets

Nothing stops by default at zero. You can buy a credit pack or keep working at pay-as-you-go rates, and Replit charges that overage whenever it reaches a billing threshold rather than only at the end of the cycle, so two charges in one month can be normal. Agent overage follows effort-based pricing, while hosting and data follow the rates listed further down. Core's plan page frames this as a way to avoid service interruption when credits run out.

Credit packs, sold on Core and Pro as one-time purchases, come in four sizes: $100 for $100 of credits, $290 for $300, $480 for $500 and $950 for $1,000[3]. They expire six months after purchase, never renew on their own and are spent earliest-expiring first, and auto-reload can buy a fresh pack when the balance runs low. By our arithmetic, every Pro option above $100 of credits buys usage more cheaply than any pack on monthly billing, so a Pro account that regularly uses up a larger option's extra credits every month gets them for less there than through packs; if the top-ups are occasional, the larger option costs more than it saves.

Two controls cap the risk. Usage alerts email you once spending passes a chosen amount beyond your credits. A budget is a hard cap: when it is met, Replit emails you and temporarily suspends all usage-based services, hosting and databases included, not just Agent. Deployments do not restart by themselves when the hold lifts, so you publish again. Replit itself recommends a budget so that a looping Agent cannot run up a large bill.

⚠️
Watch out
Visitors and collaborators spend your credits

Hosting, database and AI usage of a published Replit app, and collaborators' Agent work, come out of the owner's monthly credits, then pay-as-you-go unless a budget is set.

What the Save labels and the yearly toggle really mean

The green labels on the Pro card look like annual savings. They are not. Each one is the credit amount minus the price for that option and term: Pro with $2,500 of credits a month costs $2,050 per month billed monthly, hence Save $450, or $2,000 per month billed annually, hence Save $500. The label is really a volume discount on credits. By our arithmetic it runs from 10% below face value at $250 of credits to 18% below at $2,500 on monthly billing.

The toggle's promise of up to 10% off is reached only by Core and by Pro with $100 of credits; on larger Pro options yearly billing trims roughly 2.4% to 4.4% off the monthly figure. By our reading of Replit's card and home page, billed annually means one charge a year of twelve times the per-month price. By our arithmetic, that works out to $216 a year for Core billed annually against $240 for twelve months billed monthly, $24 less, and $1,080 a year for Pro with $100 of credits against $1,200, $120 less. Monthly to yearly switches apply at once; the reverse waits for renewal.

Going from Core to Pro costs $80 a month more billed monthly, or $72 a month more billed annually, for $80 more in monthly credits. Those extra credits come at face value on monthly billing, so the case for Pro rests on everything else: 15 builders instead of five, ten parallel Agent tasks instead of one, rollover, the option of a 28-day restore window, the training opt-out and priority support. Need none of that? Core with a budget and the occasional overage stays the leaner choice; revisit Pro if overage turns into a large, regular part of the bill.

Toolkit tip
Let Free Mode carry routine work

On Starter, Core and Pro, Free Mode chats and builds without spending credits inside its allowance. Replit asks before escalating a request to paid modes, and the escalation covers that request only.

⚠️
Watch out
Save labels are not annual savings

On the Replit Pro card, each Save label is the credit amount minus the price for that option and term, not the saving from paying yearly.

Hosting and database rates once an app is live

Publishing works on every plan and draws on the same credits before any usage fee applies. Since August 2026, Autoscale, the default deployment type, bills $0.60 per million compute units plus $0.40 per million requests, while Reserved VMs stay on for a fixed $15, $35, $50 or $130 per month across the four standard sizes, with larger sizes billed by the hour. Static hosting is free but cannot serve the full-stack apps Agent builds. Core and Pro include 100 GiB of outbound deployment transfer a month, then $0.05 per GiB. The production database bills $0.16 per compute hour and $0.35 per GiB per month of storage. Our hosting guide explains each deployment type.

Upgrades, cancellation and refunds

Upgrades take effect immediately, with the unused part of the current plan credited. Downgrades wait for the end of the billing period and lower your credits, limits and restore window, while projects and data stay intact. Canceling from the Account page keeps features until the period ends; then the account drops to Starter, where published apps may go offline and custom domain connections are removed. Some subscribers can pause once for one month instead, with no fee and no credits while live apps keep running on pay-as-you-go. Core can be bought in the Replit mobile app; Pro only on the web.

Refund terms depend on the plan. Replit's Terms of Service, which cover Starter and Core, allow a full refund of subscription payments made within 30 days of purchase, limited to the most recent subscription charge. Pro and Enterprise are covered by a separate agreement: Pro refunds are handled case by case by Support, and Enterprise fees are non-refundable. On every plan, Agent and AI usage, other usage charges and domain fees cannot be refunded[4]. Contact Support before your bank. A chargeback filed first can lock the account.

Frequently asked questions

Do Replit collaborators need their own paid plan?+

No. Collaborators do not need a paid plan: Core lets you invite up to five builders and Pro up to 15, and their Agent work counts against the project owner's credits.

Can I pay Replit by invoice or in another currency?+

Invoice billing is available only with Enterprise. Replit's pages we checked list prices in US dollars only; builders in India can pay with UPI and cards through Razorpay.

Does Replit offer startup or student pricing?+

Startups backed by one of Replit's Select Partners can get $25K in credits valid for six months, and Partner Network startups get one year of Pro on new accounts. Replit runs an education program with discounted access, but its current amount is not published on the pages we checked.

The bottom line

Replit's price list is simple on the surface and metered underneath. Core at $20 per month billed monthly is the sensible start for one builder, provided a budget goes on before the first prompt, because the real bill depends on how hard Agent works and how much traffic your app draws. Move to Pro when you need more builders, rollover, longer database recovery or priority support, and climb to the larger credit options only after a few months of usage show you will spend them.
