Serpstat pricing in one paragraph
Serpstat sells four paid plans per account, plus a Freemium account and a 7-day trial. Individual costs $69 a month or $50 a month billed annually, Team $129 or $100, Team x2 $209 or $169 and Agency $499 or $410 [1]. Every plan covers the same core tools and tracks rankings daily; what changes is the size of each limit, the extras and the price per user. The API starts on Team, which is why most buyers should start there. The costs that catch people sit in the terms rather than on the price cards. Payments are called non-refundable, and credits reset every cycle.
| Individual | Team | Team x2 | Agency | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Month-to-month | $69 | $129 | $209 | $499 |
| Per month, billed annually | $50 | $100 | $169 | $410 |
| Charged once a year | $600 | $1,200 | $2,028 | $4,920 |
| Yearly cost if paid monthly | $828 | $1,548 | $2,508 | $5,988 |
Monthly prices come from the data attributes behind each card on the pricing page; the yearly rows are our arithmetic. We read every price in USD from a US location on 13 October 2026.
Team RT x2 is the cheapest way to buy rank checks in bulk, at $1.35 per 1,000 checks billed annually.
What each plan is for
Serpstat sizes its plans by audience. Individual is for freelancers and beginners, Team for agencies and growing teams, Team x2 for agencies needing more power and Agency for large agencies and businesses. The audience labels are a fair guide, but the limits below tell you more about where you actually land.
Individual: $69 or $50
Individual includes 5 projects, 100 searches a day, 10,000 keyword position checks, 30,000 pages to audit and 50,000 export rows. It reaches the core tools: keyword research, site analysis, Rank Tracker, Site Audit and backlink analysis, with daily rankings included. What it leaves out matters just as much. The plan table marks JavaScript rendering in audits, domain batch analysis, keyword lists, AI tools, all API access and extra users as unavailable, and that also rules out MCP, which runs on the API. Individual suits one person checking a handful of sites. Little more.
Team: $129 or $100
Team has unlimited projects, 500 searches a day, 50,000 position checks, 150,000 pages to audit and 250,000 export rows, with three users. It adds the API, ChatGPT and Claude integration through MCP, the AI Overview Brand Opportunities Report, share access, AI tools, batch analysis, keyword lists, JavaScript audits, scheduled reports and invoice billing. That costs $60 more a month than Individual, or $50 more billed annually, and Serpstat's own FAQ calls Team ideal for small agencies. It is also the plan Serpstat steers trials toward.
The Team variants: RT x2 and API x2
A second pricing page sells two Team variants [2]. Team RT x2 doubles position checks to 100,000 a month and costs $169 month-to-month or $135 billed annually, which that page states as $1,620 a year. Everything else matches Team, so choose it if rankings are the whole job. Team API x2 keeps 50,000 position checks but doubles API credits to 400,000 a month at the same $169 or $135. The API still runs at one request per second, so it suits teams that feed dashboards or MCP. Not for speed.
Team x2 and Agency
Team x2 doubles Team across the board: 1,000 searches a day, 100,000 position checks, 300,000 pages to audit, 500,000 export rows, 400,000 API credits and 6 users. Billed annually it costs $34 a month more than Team RT x2 (our arithmetic), and the extra money buys three seats and audit room. Agency jumps to 5,000 searches a day, 500,000 position checks, 1.5 million pages to audit, 2.5 million export rows, 2 million API credits at 10 requests per second and 30 users. Its card lists white label reports, a data engineer consultation and phone support. It has no trial. If clients must never see the Serpstat logo, you need Agency.
Monthly or annual: what the toggle hides
The pricing page loads with the annual toggle on, so a visitor sees $50, $100, $169 and $410. The month-to-month prices exist only in the HTML attributes behind each card until the toggle moves, and several Serpstat pages say the plans start from $50 per month. That is the annual rate. The Team pricing page states the yearly figure outright, $1,200 for Team and $2,028 for Team x2, and annual plans renew for another year automatically. Put the date in your calendar.
The banner promises up to 27% off with annual billing. That maximum applies only to Individual, where $50 against $69 saves 27.5% (our arithmetic). Team saves 22.5%, Team x2 19.1% and Agency 17.8%. The bigger the plan, the smaller the discount. Each card also shows a saving in dollars: $228 on Individual, $348 on Team and $1,068 on Agency, all correct. The Team x2 card says "SAVE $484 ANNUALLY", yet its prices, $209 and $169 a month, differ by $480 over twelve months (our arithmetic). A small error. It still matters.
Trial pages still quote $59 and $119; the current prices are $69 and $129.
The limits that decide your plan
| Limit | Individual | Team | Team x2 | Agency |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Projects | 5 | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Searches per day | 100 | 500 | 1,000 | 5,000 |

| Export rows a month | 50,000 | 250,000 | 500,000 | 2.5 million |
| Position checks a month | 10,000 | 50,000 | 100,000 | 500,000 |
| Pages to audit a month | 30,000 | 150,000 | 300,000 | 1.5 million |
| Pages per scan | 5,000 | 25,000 | 50,000 | Unlimited |
| Tools credits | 5,000 | 25,000 | 50,000 | 250,000 |

Searches, reports and exports
Searches are the daily allowance for sites, keywords and links analysis. The support page says these credits are pooled, refreshed daily and spent on every request, report switch, sort or filter. Sorting costs credits, so plan your clicks. Website analysis reports stop at the row limit in the table, and backlink reports stop at 10,000 rows on every plan above Individual, so on a large domain Individual shows only the top slice. Reports export in six formats and stay in Latest reports for 60 days. Heavy exporters should look at Team x2, because Individual runs out quickly.
Rank checks and audits
Position checks are the Rank Tracker allowance, and one keyword checked once in one region uses one check. Daily tracking of 300 keywords in one location takes about 9,000 checks in a 30-day month (our arithmetic). On the audit side, a 20,000-page store fits in one scan on Team but not on Individual, so check your sitemap size first. Individual allows 5 projects for Rank Tracker and Site Audit; every other plan is unlimited, whatever the old Semrush comparison page still says about 9999 projects for Team.
Batch analysis, keyword lists and seats
Domain batch analysis allows 500 domains per project and 25 projects on Team and Team x2, and 5,000 domains and 250 projects on Agency, with batch credits of 25,000, 50,000 and 50,000. Individual has none, so link builders need Team. Keyword lists hold 10,000 keywords in 25 projects on Team and Team x2 and 100,000 keywords in 250 projects on Agency. They matter if you track research over time, not for one-off lookups. Tools credits, used by the other tools, are listed without saying which tools draw on them; the credits dashboard shows a formula per module, so check it after a week.
Credits, the API and the costs that grow
How credits work
Each module draws from a separate credit pool, and credits renew each month with an active subscription [3]. Site Analysis spends one credit per domain check, Keyword Research one per keyword result, Backlinks one per link and Site Audit one per page. Separate pools mean separate surprises. You can top up any single module without upgrading the whole plan, and top-ups do not expire while the subscription runs, but they are lost if it lapses. The help article says plan credits are significantly cheaper per unit than top-ups. No top-up price is published.
AI Overview checks cost double
Tracking a keyword in Google's AI Overview uses two credits per keyword and region, because Serpstat makes two Google requests. On Individual, tracking 300 keywords daily in both organic results and AI Overview takes about 27,000 checks a month (our arithmetic). That exceeds the 10,000 allowance. Plan for Team.
API credits, MCP and speed
In the API, one returned row costs one credit and a summary report costs five. A daily pull of 1,000 keyword rows uses about 30,000 credits a month (our arithmetic), which Team covers six times over. Every Team plan, including Team API x2, is capped at one request per second, while Agency allows ten. For a dashboard refresh that is fine; for bulk jobs of thousands of calls it is slow, and large API users should talk to sales. The MCP server is free to connect, but each query calls Serpstat's API and uses credits, so MCP needs Team or above. One long AI conversation can call a dozen reports. Watch the balance.
Products billed separately
LLM Brand Monitor is billed apart from the SEO plans: Free with 10 checks and 2 projects a month, and Pro at $39 a month for 200 checks and unlimited projects. The product page shows that $39 as a limited-time offer against a struck-through $99 list price, so expect the price to change. SERP crawling is also sold apart, at $0.0013 per query below 1 million queries a month and $0.001 above, with a $300 minimum order. Big datasets go through data.serpstat.com and sales. Most buyers never need either.
Export rank history before your plan's data retention runs out; Individual keeps project data only two months after expiry.
Freemium and the trial
Freemium needs no card and gives 10 searches a day, 10 results per report and 10 pages to audit. It does not include the API, AI tools or batch analysis, and whether it includes Rank Tracker depends on which Serpstat page you read. Assume it does not. The 7-day trial takes a card and a $1 verification charge that is returned. Auto-renewal switches on as soon as the trial starts, and unless you switch it off, the full plan price is charged after seven days. The trial is not free by default.
The Individual trial includes 2,000 rank checks and no API, AI tools or batch analysis; the Team trial includes 10,000 rank checks, the API, AI tools and batch analysis, with batch credits of 3,000 and 5,000 on trial. Take the Team trial. It shows more. To cancel, go to Settings and turn off Automatic renewal; the trial stays active to its end and then switches to Freemium. The Bills page has the same toggle and asks for a confirmation word. Do it on day one, since access remains until the trial ends.
Renewal, refunds and leaving
The first payment switches on recurring billing for the same period, month or year. The terms ask for cancellation by email no later than 15 days before the plan expires, while the newer help article offers a self-serve toggle. Use both. Refunds are the harder part: "Any payment received as a result of a subscription activation is non refundable." [4] Serpstat may still consider a justified request sent to support, and the trial FAQ promises a quick refund if you forget to cancel a trial. For paid renewals, expect nothing.
Leaving has a clock too. The data retention row in the plan table reads 2, 10, 10 and 100, and the FAQ explains that these are months after the subscription expires, after which Serpstat deletes all projects except the first one created. Individual users get two months, so export early. On the paperwork side, Serpstat accepts major cards, PayPal and bank transfers. Invoices download as PDFs from Bills with the company name, address and VAT number entered in Settings, and details cannot be added to past invoices, so enter them before the first charge.
Top-up prices are not published, and top-ups are lost if the subscription lapses.
Discounts, old prices and partners
The pricing FAQ mentions custom pricing for enterprises, non-profits and customers who commit to longer-term contracts, and the support page says account managers offer exclusive deals not listed on the site. Ask before you pay, nonprofits especially. Be careful with older pages, though. The trial-free and trial FAQ pages still quote Individual at $59 and Team at $119 a month, and the discounts page offers 5 to 20% for 3- to 12-month periods. The pricing page read on 13 October 2026 shows $69 and $129. Trust the pricing page.
Partners earn up to 30% of all purchases made through their referral link and can spend the bonuses on Serpstat plans, and bloggers can ask for promo codes for reviews. We are not a Serpstat affiliate. Nothing here earns us a commission.
What a seat and a rank check really cost
Billed annually, one seat costs $50 on Individual, $33.33 on Team, $28.17 on Team x2 and $13.67 on Agency (our arithmetic). Month-to-month the figures are $69, $43, $34.83 and $16.63. Seats get cheap only at the top. A team of five fits Team x2. A team of four pays for six.
The same logic applies to rank tracking. Billed annually, 1,000 position checks cost $5.00 on Individual, $2.00 on Team, $1.35 on Team RT x2, $1.69 on Team x2 and $0.82 on Agency (our arithmetic). Team RT x2 is the best value for pure rank tracking. Agency only wins at scale, and only if you can use half a million checks a month.
Serpstat next to Semrush, Ahrefs, SE Ranking and Mangools
Semrush SEO costs $139 a month or $117.33 billed annually, while Serpstat Team is $129 or $100 and includes three users and the API. Over a year, annual Team costs $207.96 less than annual Semrush SEO (our arithmetic). Semrush sells more toolkits. Serpstat sells more limits. Ahrefs Lite matches Team's $129 monthly price and costs $1,290 a year, and it updates rank tracking weekly on every plan. Serpstat Team costs $90 less a year and updates daily. Ahrefs keeps the edge in backlinks; Serpstat keeps it in tracking.
SE Ranking Core costs $129 a month or $103.20 billed annually and includes 2,000 keywords and 25,000 API credits. Serpstat Team is $3.20 a month cheaper billed annually and includes 200,000 API credits, but SE Ranking's 14-day trial needs no card, and Serpstat's does. Mangools Basic costs $49 a month against Serpstat Individual at $69 month-to-month or $50 billed annually, and the extra money buys daily tracking, a site audit and keyword clustering in one plan. Mangools stays simpler. Serpstat does more. Our Serpstat vs Semrush comparison covers the closest rival in depth.
Which plan to buy
Buy Individual if you are one person with up to five sites and no need for the API. Buy Team if you need the API, MCP, JavaScript audits or more than one user; it is the right plan for most buyers. Buy Team RT x2 for heavy rank tracking, and Agency only for white label. Whichever you pick, start monthly and switch to annual once you know the limits fit. The bottom line
Serpstat's prices are low for what each plan includes, and daily tracking on every tier is rare at $50 a month billed annually. The costs hide in the terms: credits that reset, AI Overview checks at double rate, top-ups with no published price and payments called non-refundable. Read them before the first charge, switch off renewal during the trial, and export your data before you leave. Then buy Team.
