VEED fits a small marketing team that turns recordings, webinars and product footage into short, subtitled, on-brand social video, and for most such teams it fits best on Pro at $22.08 per editor seat a month billed annually ($45 a month billed monthly). Pro is where multiple Brand Kits, 4K export, embeds and subtitle translation into 50+ languages begin [1]. Three Pro editors come to $795 a year, by our arithmetic, and three is also the ceiling. Every workspace member is a billed seat, including the owner and pending invites. These are VEED's US-dollar list prices; local-currency prices may differ, and India is billed annually only. Skip VEED if you need more than five editors without an Enterprise contract, or a marketing video host with analytics.
Which plan fits the size of your team
The seat cap decides more than features. Creator and Pro both stop at three editors, Studio allows five plus one reviewer role, and only Enterprise goes beyond that, up to 500 editors. Each cap is a ceiling, not a bundle: the owner, every collaborator and every pending invite is billed at the plan's per-seat price. Collaborators get the same editing rights as the owner, because there are no permission roles below Enterprise. The one free invite is a Project Viewer, who can watch a single project without editing it or entering the workspace.
| Plan | Price per editor seat | Editors | Brand Kits | Export | Saved templates |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Creator | $25 a month billed monthly, or $12.25 a month billed annually | Up to 3 | 1 (fonts and colors only) | 1080p | Ready-made only |
| Pro | $45 a month billed monthly, or $22.08 a month billed annually | Up to 3 | Multiple, all asset types | 4K | Ready-made only |
| Studio | $79 a month billed monthly, or $38.75 a month billed annually | Up to 5, plus 1 reviewer | Multiple, all asset types | 4K | Custom, shared |
| Enterprise | Custom quote | Up to 500 | Multiple, all asset types | 4K | Custom, shared |
For three editors on annual billing, Creator costs $441 a year and Pro $795 a year by our arithmetic, so the step up is $354 a year for the whole team. That buys 4K, several Brand Kits, embeds and translation in volume. A fourth editor forces Studio. Four seats at $38.75 a month billed annually come to $1,860 a year, or $316 a month on monthly billing. Annual billing pays off fast: a seat at $45 a month passes the $265 annual price in the sixth month, since five months cost $225 and six cost $270.
Commit annually only if the team will run video for more than five months. Annual billing is paid fully upfront. Upgrading mid-term resets the billing period, so a full new cycle is charged with the unused time prorated and deducted. Adding a collaborator is charged immediately, prorated, while the billing date stays put. Removing a collaborator later refunds nothing; the unused time turns into credit on a future invoice, and our VEED pricing guide covers the rest of the billing rules.
VEED's privacy policy says content uploaded on the Free plan may be used to train its AI models, so keep unreleased campaign footage out of Free workspaces.
Keeping every video on-brand
Brand Kits are the feature marketing teams lean on most, and the plan gate is sharp. Free has none. Creator gets one kit limited to fonts and colors. Pro, Studio and Enterprise get multiple kits holding fonts, colors, images, video, audio and saved groups such as lower thirds, intros and outros [2]. Editors switch kits from a dropdown inside the editor, so an agency or a multi-brand company can keep each client's assets apart.
There is a governance gap to plan around. Any editor in the workspace can add, move or remove Brand Kit assets, and the kits have no separate permission. VEED's Oktopost case study, which is vendor-reported, describes locking a shared kit so team members and employee advocates could create and subtitle video on-brand. On self-serve plans, that rests on trust. Custom templates add structure on Studio and Enterprise only: a saved template is shared with the whole workspace, there is no limit on how many you keep, and updating one changes it for everyone with access.
A subtitle style saved to a Brand Kit becomes available to everyone in the workspace, so every editor's captions match without re-styling.
From one long recording to a week of short posts
Clips is the repurposing engine. It takes a video with between 1 minute and 3 hours of speech and returns short clips with auto-framing, filler and silence trimming, subtitles in 100+ languages and a rating for each clip [3]. You pick portrait or landscape, a goal and an optional prompt before it runs, and VEED's blog suggests producing several outputs per video to A/B test ads. Clips is unlimited from Creator but only a one-time try on Free. It needs a fresh upload rather than a video already in the account, and it does not accept YouTube links.
Magic Cut handles the rough cut on every plan, including Free, removing silences, filler words and repeated takes, though it works in English only. Edit with Script, also on all plans, lets an editor trim a webinar by deleting transcript text instead of scrubbing the timeline. Dynamic Subtitles, the animated caption presets, are unlimited on all plans once a project has subtitles. Auto subtitles themselves are metered in minutes rather than credits: 10 minutes a month on Free, and a 50-hour monthly fair-use limit on the paid plans.
Reformatting has two routes. Resize for Social appears on the dashboard, but only for projects that have already been exported. AI Background Expand rebuilds the missing background so a 16:9 clip can become 9:16 or the reverse, and it handles no other ratios. Source clips must be exactly one of those two shapes and at least three seconds long. The tool spends AI credits by clip duration, with nothing charged when a generation fails.
Ad creative runs on AI credits
The generative side draws on one credit pool per workspace, and that pool is where marketing budgets get tested. Base plans carry 500 credits a month on Creator, 2,500 on Pro and 15,000 on Studio when billed monthly. VEED's rate table charges 310 credits for one Veo 3.1 generation and 20 credits a second for Kling 3. By our arithmetic, Creator's monthly pool covers one Veo 3.1 clip, Pro's covers eight and Studio's covers 48. An eight-second Kling 3 clip costs 160 credits, so Pro's pool stretches to 15 of those.
AI Asset Templates are the quickest route to campaign material. The gallery offers pre-written prompts filtered by categories such as Brand Campaigns, Viral Hooks, Product Ads and Product Mockups, and the credit cost shows on the Generate button before you commit [4]. Only templates built around a reference image, such as device mockups, accept your own product photo. Finished assets stay in the workspace, where subtitles, brand colors and a voice can be added without a download and re-upload. For UGC-style spots, Gen-AI Studio adds creator-style avatars, though avatar videos come out in 9:16 only, and avatars are not offered in some countries, including India and Pakistan.
Credits never roll over. They reset at renewal and cannot be refunded, and a result you dislike is still charged; only failed generations are free. Getting more credits on the web means moving to a higher-credit variant of your plan, since top-ups are not sold there. On Pro, those variants cost $55 to $145 per seat a month billed monthly, or $312 to $852 per seat a year billed annually. One read-across is worth knowing: Creator's 2,500-credit variant costs the same $45 a month as base Pro, which adds 4K and multiple kits.
Run a month on the base plan, check plan-limit usage in Workspace Settings and the credits you spent, and only then move to a higher-credit variant.
Review, approval and getting videos out
Feedback runs through share links and comments. Colleagues and clients can leave timestamped comments on a hosted video, and Studio adds one reviewer role for comment-only access. Formal review mode, unlimited reviewers, SSO and private workspaces sit on Enterprise. For a three-person team, that is workable. For a brand team that needs legal or regional sign-off from many people, it pushes you toward a sales call early, because the self-serve plans stop at one reviewer.
Distribution is thinner than editing. Embeds start on Pro, branded video hosting and custom watermarks on Studio, and call-to-action buttons on the video page are Enterprise-only. If the job is a marketing host with heatmaps and A/B tests, Wistia offers both on its paid marketing tier. That tier costs $79 a month billed annually or $99 billed monthly for the whole Wistia account, three users included, with a 14-day trial that needs no card and no refunds after purchase. Check which job you are buying for. Our guide to Wistia for marketing covers that side of the stack.
On VEED every workspace member, including the owner and anyone with a pending invite, is billed per seat, and removing a collaborator refunds nothing in cash (unused time becomes credit on later invoices).
Limits to check before you commit
Three gaps matter for marketing work. First, translation in volume starts at Pro; Creator gets at most a small allowance. Translation is metered in minutes per target language, so a 30-minute video into two languages uses 60 minutes, and it also spends credits. Second, uploads on the Free plan may be used to train VEED's AI models under its privacy policy. Keep unreleased campaign footage out of free accounts. Third, there is no trial of the self-serve plans, only a Free plan rather than a trial, with its watermark and 720p exports.
Enterprise trials exist but need three or more users. Consumers who never used the service can get a full refund within 14 days, but once anyone has uploaded or edited, cancelling or downgrading refunds nothing; our guide on how to cancel VEED walks through the timing. Treat month one as a pilot. Check usage in Workspace Settings, which tracks subtitles, translation, text to speech, dubbing, avatars and clips against the plan limits.
Frequently asked questions
Can VEED publish directly to TikTok, Instagram or LinkedIn?+
No. VEED does not publish to social platforms; you export the video and upload it yourself, or share it through a VEED link or, from Pro, an embed.
Is VEED's stock music safe to use in paid social ads?+
On paid plans the stock library, supplied by Epidemic, is royalty-free. VEED helps with copyright claims only if the stock media was edited fully in VEED and the claim stays unresolved 30 days after you dispute it, and that help is not offered on the Free plan.
Can we use VEED's AI avatars in ads for alcohol or gambling?+
No. VEED's Code of Conduct bars digital avatars and actor voices from regulated goods such as alcohol, tobacco, gambling, firearms and dating, and VEED asks users to tell viewers when content is AI-generated.
Should an agency open one VEED workspace per client?+
Each workspace is billed separately and projects cannot move between workspaces, so separate workspaces mean separate seats. On Pro and above, one workspace with a Brand Kit per client is the lighter setup, but every editor can see and change every client's kit, credits are pooled, and Pro still stops at three editors.
The bottom line
VEED suits a marketing team of up to three editors that repurposes long recordings into subtitled social clips and wants brand assets in one place. Pro billed annually is the sensible default, because multiple Brand Kits, 4K and translation in volume all start there. Go to Studio only for a fourth or fifth editor, a reviewer role or shared custom templates. Budget AI credits separately in your head: video models drain small pools fast. If you need many approvers or deep video analytics, look at Enterprise or a dedicated host.
