The short answer
YouCanBookMe costs $0 on Free, $9 a month on Individual, $13 on Professional and $18 per member on Team when billed monthly [1]. Yearly billing takes 10% off, and two-year billing takes 20% off. SMS is never included, and Stripe payments carry a 1% YouCanBookMe commission on top of Stripe's own fees. Put together, a solo professional who pays yearly for Professional and sends 100 reminder texts a month should budget $224.40 for the year, by our arithmetic, before any commission on payments taken through the booking page.
We read the pricing page from a US connection on 13 October 2026. The price cards render as $0 until a script fills them, so the real figures come from a price list embedded in the page, in USD, GBP and EUR, and the help center's pricing article gives the same numbers. Where help articles disagree with the pricing page, we take the pricing page as current.
The four plans and what each one buys
The plans differ by calendar connections, booking pages and features. Only Team is priced per member; the other three cover one account. Here is every plan on every billing term, per month.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly (per month) | Two years (per month) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | $0 |
| Individual | $9 | $8.10 | $7.20 |
| Professional | $13 | $11.70 | $10.40 |
| Team, per member | $18 | $16.20 | $14.40 |
Free and Individual
Free gives one calendar, one booking page and unlimited bookings. It includes video links, Stripe payments, meeting polls, single-use links, embedding and the Chrome extension, but pages and emails show a Powered for free button and there are no reminders. Individual adds a second calendar and a second booking page, plus reminders, buffers, notice periods, group sessions, fixed-date events, password protection and premium support. At $97.20 a year billed yearly, it is the cheapest way to get reminders by email. If you only need reminders on two calendars, it is enough. For what the $0 plan can carry on its own, see is YouCanBookMe free.
Professional, the plan most buyers pick
Professional checks 6 calendars and runs 10 booking pages. It adds workflows, unlimited form questions, promo codes, HubSpot, Zapier, webhooks, analytics, daily limits and branding removal, and the pricing page marks it most popular. Billed yearly, it costs $140.40. Is it worth $4 a month more than Individual? Yes, if you need any of its tools. The yearly gap is $43.20, by our arithmetic, and for that you get 4 more calendars, 8 more pages, workflows, HubSpot, Zapier, webhooks and branding removal. For most solo buyers this is the upgrade that pays off.
Team, and teams of 50 or more
Team adds a shared dashboard, roles, round robin, central billing, personalized onboarding and unlimited API access. Billed yearly it is $16.20 per member a month, or $194.40 a year, and every member is a paid seat. Each member gets 10 calendar connections and 15+ booking pages. The pricing page sends teams of 50 or more members to sales, and no price is published for them. Enterprise customers get training, onboarding sessions and dedicated account management. Ask for any discount in writing.
Work and personal calendars count as two. The number of calendars each page checks, not your headcount, decides between Individual and Professional.
Why calendars, not people, set the bill
The help center says the price depends on calendars checked for availability and on booking pages. Each calendar inside an account counts, so work and personal calendars count as two, and adding team members or extra calendars prompts an upgrade. That is why two buyers with identical work can pay different prices. One keeps all meetings in a single calendar and fits Individual. The other spreads them across work, personal and project calendars and needs Professional's six connections. Count calendars before you count anything else.
Booking pages and the limits that disagree
Free allows 1 booking page, Individual 2, Professional 10 and Team 15+ per user. Help articles disagree on the upper limits: one says paid plans allow up to 100 pages, and the Team page limit varies between 15+ and 200 across pages. Offline pages do not count. Add a calendar beyond your plan and YouCanBookMe asks you to upgrade, but only while the booking page is online, so offline pages can be edited without paying. Calendar upgrades are prorated to keep your renewal date. Removing calendars later creates account credit, not a refund.
The jump from one account to many seats
Team is the only plan where each person adds a seat, and Professional cannot add team members at all. That switch from account pricing to member pricing is the biggest jump in the price list. Two people who each need their own calendar on one booking page go from $140.40 a year on Professional to $388.80 a year on Team, by our arithmetic. If both people need their own calendars on one page, Team is the only option.
Monthly, yearly or two years
Monthly billing is the most flexible and the most expensive, and you can cancel at the end of any month. Yearly billing is paid up front. The saving from yearly billing is modest in dollars, so the decision is less about money and more about whether you will still need the same plan in twelve months. The table shows the yearly bill on each choice, by our arithmetic from the published rates.
| Billing choice | Individual | Professional | Team, per member |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly, 12 months | $108 | $156 | $216 |
| Yearly | $97.20 | $140.40 | $194.40 |
| Saved by paying yearly | $10.80 | $15.60 | $21.60 |
The two-year term
Few rivals offer a two-year term. It locks in the price, but it also locks in the plan size. Over two years the gap grows: Professional costs $249.60 on two-year billing against $312 on 24 monthly payments. That is the upside. The downside is that account credit from later downgrades is not refundable, so commit for two years only when the number of calendars and booking pages you need is unlikely to shrink.
| Over 24 months | Individual | Professional | Team, per member |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly billing | $216 | $312 | $432 |
| Two-year billing | $172.80 | $249.60 | $345.60 |
| Saved | $43.20 | $62.40 | $86.40 |
Switching terms and downgrading
Switching from monthly to yearly credits the unused monthly balance and charges the difference. Your renewal date stays the same and the switch takes effect at once, which makes it the simplest way to cut the bill by 10%. Going the other way does not refund money. The unused yearly balance becomes account credit that pays later monthly charges, and the Terms say leftover credit can be used for twelve months after cancellation. Unlinking calendars or moving to a smaller plan works the same way. It creates credit, not cash.
The pricing page promises 30 days for a refund; the Terms give new customers 14 and monthly renewals none. Get your window in writing.
The trial, refunds and canceling
Every new account can start a 14-day free trial without a credit card, and it runs on the Professional plan [2]. It unlocks workflows, SMS reminders, buffers and premium integrations, and trial users also get premium support, but it does not let you add team members. Use it to test buffers, reminders, appointment types and the HubSpot or Zapier connection. Billing starts the day you enter payment details, even if the trial has days left. If you do not upgrade, the account drops to Free at the end of the trial, and paid features must then be removed to keep the page bookable.
Two refund windows
The pricing FAQ promises a 30-day money-back guarantee, and the help refund policy also says 30 days. The Terms, updated in March 2026, say new customers get 14 days and monthly renewals get none [3]. SMS fees are never refunded, and a refund outside the policy can carry a $20 fee or one month's subscription. For a monthly subscriber the difference is small. For someone who prepays $345.60 per Team member for two years, the gap between a fourteen-day and a thirty-day window decides whether a change of mind in week three costs anything. Get your window in writing.
Canceling, and what Free keeps
You cancel by downgrading to Free on the Plan and Billing page. Paid features stay until the end of the term, and there is no automatic refund or credit for unused time. Taking pages offline does not cancel a subscription. After a downgrade you keep one online booking page, seven form questions, one appointment type and one calendar. Zapier and HubSpot must be removed, and buffers, booking limits, promo codes and reminder emails stop working.
The costs outside the plan price
SMS credits
SMS is billed separately on every plan [4]. One credit costs $0.07 in the US, €0.07 or £0.05, and covers 160 characters, so a 200-character text uses two credits. You buy 20 to 10,000 credits at a time, and volume discounts start at 200. Credits are bought by the Account Owner and shared across every booking page in the account, and low-credit alerts arrive by email at 100, 50 and 10 credits remaining. Count one credit per reminder and per confirmation, two if the text runs long. A practice sending 100 reminders a month spends $7 a month, or $84 a year. At 500 texts a month the bill is $35 a month.
Enhanced SMS and its 12-month contract
Enhanced SMS gives you a dedicated number. It costs a $59 setup fee, then $17 a month for 1 line and up to 500 texts, or $27 a month for up to 1,000, and extra lines cost $5 a month each. It needs Professional or Team. On the smaller bundle the first year costs $263. On the $27 bundle it costs $383 with the setup fee, just over three cents a text if all 1,000 monthly messages go out. That is less than half the price of a basic seven-cent credit.
The catch is the contract. The Terms set a minimum 12-month line rental, setup, rental and bundles are non-refundable, and bundles do not roll over. If you stop paying monthly, a cancellation fee covers the rest of the 12 months. In practice it is a yearly contract. It suits a US or Canadian business that already sends hundreds of texts a month. It does not suit one still testing whether texting reduces no-shows.
Stripe fees plus 1%
Stripe works on every plan, Free included, and charges its own fees. YouCanBookMe adds a 1% commission on each payment and says it cannot waive it. There is no sandbox, so testing means a real charge and a refund. The commission scales with revenue, not usage. At $4,000 of monthly bookings it is $40 a month or $480 a year. For a coach taking 20 sessions at $150, it adds $30 a month, which is more than a Professional subscription. A consultant billing $10,000 a month through booking pages would hand YouCanBookMe $100 a month on top of the plan price. Price your sessions with it in mind.
Now add the two together. For a coach taking $4,000 a month in bookings and sending 100 texts, the extras come to $40 in commission and $7 in SMS each month. That is $564 a year on top of the plan price, by our arithmetic. Most buyers miss it. Extra calendars that push you into a higher plan are the third hidden cost.
Two-year billing takes 20% off, but credit from later downgrades is not refundable. Commit only if your calendar and page count will not shrink.
Discounts, tax and how you pay
Educators get 30% off all paid plans. Accounts created with .edu, .ac.uk or .edu.au addresses get it automatically, and others can apply, so a university advisor who signs up with a personal Gmail address has to apply manually. Applied to Professional's monthly rate, 30% off brings $13 down to $9.10. K-12 schools can buy a flat parent-teacher conference plan at $129 for schools that do not charge tuition and $175 for those that do. Each covers 30 days with unlimited teacher calendars, and a school can use it up to four times a year.
Prices are shown in USD, GBP or EUR. UK customers pay 20% VAT on top, EU customers have not been charged VAT since January 2021, and customers elsewhere pay no added tax, according to the pricing FAQ. Subscriptions are paid by card, and PayPal is not accepted. Purchase orders, checks and bank transfers are possible only for larger long-term accounts by prior agreement. Some banks flag the card charge because the company is in the UK. Warn your finance team.
Three setups, priced
A solo consultant with one work and one personal calendar needs Individual. Billed yearly, that is $97.20 a year. Add 100 SMS reminders a month and the year costs $181.20, while the same setup on Professional costs $224.40. Both are modest. A three-person team where each person needs their own calendar on one page needs Team. Billed yearly, that is $583.20 a year; billed monthly, $648; on two-year billing, $1,036.80 for both years. Paying yearly saves $64.80 a year, but it locks the team into three seats when a fourth hire would add another $194.40 a year.
A ten-person team on Team costs $1,944 a year billed yearly or $2,160 billed monthly, all by our arithmetic. At that size, ask sales about onboarding and volume terms, because the 50-member threshold is where list prices stop. Remember that these are plan prices only. SMS and the 1% commission come on top, and both grow with the number of clients the team books and charges. Add them before you sign.
Against Calendly, Acuity and Setmore
Calendly Standard is $10 a seat a month billed annually, and Teams is $16. For ten people on a team plan, the yearly bills are close. At ten seats the difference is only $24 a year in Calendly's favor, so the choice should rest on features such as included texts, page design and the integration catalog rather than on list price. Our YouCanBookMe vs Calendly comparison covers those.
| Ten users, billed yearly | YouCanBookMe Team | Calendly Teams |
|---|---|---|
| Per user a month | $16.20 | $16 |
| Yearly total | $1,944 | $1,920 |
Acuity Scheduling has no free plan, and its Starter is $16 a month billed annually, so a solo YouCanBookMe Professional account costs less, though Acuity includes packages and a BAA. Setmore is cheaper for staff teams. Its Free plan covers up to 4 users, and Pro is $5 a user a month billed annually, so ten users cost $600 a year. A ten-person salon would pay $1,344 a year more on YouCanBookMe Team. That premium buys calendar logic and round robin. Pay it only if you need them.
How to pay less, and what to ask sales
Most of the savings come from a few habits. Pay yearly or for two years, once the plan size is settled. Use the educator discount if you qualify. Keep linked calendars to what each page needs, since each one counts toward the plan. Text only the reminders that cut no-shows. And ask about the referral program, which gives new customers 10% off. None of this is complicated.
Some answers are missing from the vendor's pages. We could not confirm whether the educator discount stacks with yearly billing, how many booking pages Team really allows, or what a team past the published limit pays. Ask sales which refund window applies to you, 14 or 30 days, and get each answer in writing. Old prices also circulate: some help articles still show $12 per calendar a month, and a comparison page mentions $9 per calendar paid annually. Both are out of date.
The dedicated texting line carries a 12-month minimum rental, a $59 setup fee and non-refundable bundles that do not roll over.

The bottom line
For one person, YouCanBookMe is fairly priced, and the two-year term is unusual. Start on Free or the 14-day trial, then pick by calendars and pages: Individual suits light solo use, Professional most solo professionals, and Team any shared page. For staff teams, Setmore costs less and Calendly costs about the same. Before you compare any of them, add SMS credits and the 1% payment commission to the plan price, because those are the costs most buyers miss. Our YouCanBookMe review covers what the plans actually do.
