What Ubersuggest costs, in one table
Ubersuggest sells three paid plans, and each one can be paid three ways: monthly, yearly, or once for Lifetime access. There is also a free account with tight limits. The figures below come from the vendor's machine-readable pricing file, which we read from the US on October 13, 2026 [1]. That file states its prices in US dollars and is the only page that lists all three billing periods side by side. We treat it as the reference for every calculation here.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Lifetime (once) | Users | Projects |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | n/a | 1 | 1 |
| Individual | $29 | $192 | $290 | 1 | 1 |
| Business | $49 | $326 | $490 | 2 | 7 |
| Enterprise/Agency | $99 | $657 | $990 | 5 | 15 |
Why your page may show euros
The live pricing page detects your location by IP and shows a local currency; when we opened it from Europe, it served euros. The help center describes this as a geo-localized pricing model meant to reflect regional economic conditions. Once you buy, the currency is locked in, based on the location and the prices shown at checkout. A VPN changes what you see. So turn it off before you pay, and check the currency on the checkout screen rather than on the pricing page.
Prices localize by IP and lock in after purchase. Turn off any VPN and confirm the currency on the checkout screen.
What each plan actually gets you
Individual: one person, one website
Individual costs $29 a month, $192 a year or $290 once. It covers one user and one project, with 150 searches a day, 125 tracked keywords, 1,000 page scans, 5 competitors and 20 locations. AI tracking covers 10 prompts, refreshed monthly. For one site run by one person, 150 searches a day is plenty, and the plan includes no additional users.
Business: the plan the vendor pushes
Business costs $49 a month, $326 a year or $490 once, and the pricing page marks it Popular. It adds a second user, 7 projects, 300 searches a day, 150 tracked keywords per project, 5,000 page scans and unlimited locations. AI prompts rise to 15 per brand, refreshed every two weeks. For a freelancer with a handful of client sites, or a small business with two people in the account, this is the natural fit.
Enterprise/Agency: fifteen sites and a team
Enterprise/Agency costs $99 a month, $657 a year or $990 once. It covers 5 users, 15 projects, 900 searches a day, 300 tracked keywords per project, 10,000 page scans, 15 competitors and 1,000 keywords per bulk analysis. AI prompts refresh weekly, and Pixel Rank Tracking is limited to this tier. For an agency team, 900 searches a day goes fast, because invited users draw from the admin's pool.
How the limits scale
A project is one website, and most limits scale per project. Daily searches, also called reports, are the shared pool: 3 on Free, then 150, 300 and 900, and a 500-search add-on costs $5 a month. Tracked keywords, page scans and competitors multiply with the number of projects instead, which makes the account totals much larger than the headline numbers suggest:
| Plan | Keywords per project | Projects | Account total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 25 | 1 | 25 |
| Individual | 125 | 1 | 125 |
| Business | 150 | 7 | 1,050 |
| Enterprise/Agency | 300 | 15 | 4,500 |
The totals are our arithmetic. Rankings update weekly on every plan, so a bigger tier buys more keywords, not fresher data. Site Audit works the same way: the home page quotes 150,000 pages on the top plan, which is 15 projects of 10,000 each. Large sites need Enterprise. Very large ones need another tool. Bulk analysis also scales, from 50 to 200 to 1,000 keywords at a time, so on Individual a list of 1,000 keywords takes 20 batches. Monthly credits, spent when refreshing keyword and AI response data, run 250, 500 and 1,000, and a Content Studio article costs 100 of them.
Monthly, yearly or Lifetime
Yearly billing saves almost half
| Plan | 12 × monthly | Yearly | Saved | Per month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Individual | $348 | $192 | $156 (44.8%) | about $16.00 |
| Business | $588 | $326 | $262 (44.6%) | about $27.17 |
| Enterprise/Agency | $1,188 | $657 | $531 (44.7%) | about $54.75 |
This is our arithmetic on the prices in the pricing file, and the saving is almost identical on every tier. Nearly half off. The condition is that yearly plans charge the full year at once, and the Terms say annual subscriptions get no free trial and that their fees are non-refundable [2]. The trial exists only on monthly plans. So the order matters: test monthly, then switch. Upgrades of monthly and annual plans are prorated, so moving up later does not waste what you already paid.
Add-ons bill monthly even on yearly and Lifetime plans, and add-on purchases cannot be refunded.
Lifetime: ten monthly payments, once
Lifetime costs $290, $490 or $990 as a one-time payment, and every Lifetime price equals ten monthly payments of the same tier. Against yearly billing, Lifetime pays for itself in about 18 months: $290 divided by $192 a year is 1.51 years. After that, it is cheaper, if the product lasts. The help center calls Lifetime plans limited-time offers, available only while the offer is active, and the pricing page shows a countdown for it. Prices may change when the offer does, and ours are from October 13, 2026.
The Lifetime deal, read closely
A cut-down version of each tier
Lifetime is not the same product as the subscription. The pricing file lists AI prompts on demand only, 10 AI prompt ideas per search instead of 25, 50 or 75, and 200, 500 or 700 monthly credits instead of 250, 500 or 1,000. AI Search Visibility starts as a basic version with monthly updates. Users, projects and keywords stay the same. Lifetime owners who want fuller AI tracking need a Lifetime AI Add-On charged every month, and its price is not published. So a paid-up Lifetime account can still carry a monthly bill.
The 90% off banner
The pricing page runs a countdown offering 90% off with lifetime access. It does not say 90% off what. A help article on upgrades, dated September 2026, uses Individual Lifetime at $499 and Business Lifetime at $999 as its example, while the pricing file lists $290 and $490. Help articles from 2024 and 2025 list only monthly and Lifetime plans and give Lifetime 50 years. Trustpilot reviewers mention repeated banners. Ignore the clock, and trust the newest page.
Upgrades only, and never to someone else
You can move up a Lifetime tier by paying only the difference: the help center charges the new Lifetime price minus a credit for what you already paid [3]. At today's prices, Individual to Business Lifetime costs $200 and Business to Enterprise $500, by our arithmetic, and a confirmation shows the exact charge first. Moving down is another matter. "Lifetime plans do not support downgrades" [3]. The Terms add that Lifetime subscriptions cannot be transferred to another entity, not even to another email address you own, and switching a Lifetime account to a monthly plan forfeits the Lifetime plan. Pick the tier carefully. And the email.
Help pages still quote $499 and $999 Lifetime examples; the current pricing file lists lower prices.
The free account and the 7-day trial
The free account has no time limit and costs nothing. It also does very little: 3 searches or reports a day, 1 project, 25 tracked keywords updated weekly on desktop only, 1 location, 150 crawled pages a week and 100 backlinks per site. Our guide to what Ubersuggest gives away for free covers those limits in detail.
The trial is the better test. It lasts 7 days, works once per user and only on monthly plans, needs a card and gives full access to the chosen plan. Unless you cancel in Account & Billing before day seven, the first month is charged and cannot be refunded. Cancel early. Access stays.
Add-ons: where the $5 adds up
Seven add-ons at the same price
The pricing page lists seven add-ons at $5 a month each: 500 daily searches, an extra project, 250 tracked keywords, competitor domains, users, AI prompts and 500 monthly credits. The help center adds that add-on pricing varies by location. In US dollars, the math is easy. Add-ons bill monthly regardless of the main plan, including yearly and Lifetime [4], which is the detail most buyers miss.
- Extra users: $5 a month each, with no cap on quantity. Invited users cannot edit projects, connect Google Analytics or Search Console, buy add-ons, delete AI brands or reach billing. Three people on Business cost $54 a month, by our arithmetic.
- Extra projects: $5 a month each, with 125 tracked keywords and 3 competitors, whatever your plan. A second site on Individual comes to $34 a month, and eight sites on Business to $54. A project add-on cannot be removed while its project exists.
- Extra tracked keywords: each pack adds 250 keywords to one project, up to five per project. That lifts one Individual project from 125 to a maximum of 1,375 keywords for $25 a month more, $54 in total. Updates stay weekly.
- Competitor domains: the help center says each pack adds 5 competitors per project, on top of the 5, 10 or 15 each plan includes.
AI prompts and AI Writer: two systems
AI Search Visibility tracks 10, 15 or 20 prompts per brand, and totals reach 105 on Business and 300 on Enterprise. The add-on is where the pages disagree: the pricing page sells a pack of 5 AI prompts at $5, while the help center describes a +25 Prompts add-on that can be assigned to any project, and says these add-ons are always billed monthly. Both pages are current, so confirm the pack size before buying. AI Writer has its own packs on top of a 10,000-word default: Blogger at $9 a month for 25,000 extra words, Business at $24 for 100,000 and Shakespeare at $99 for 500,000. Content Studio articles draw on plan credits instead.
Buying is final, removing is immediate
"All Add-On purchases are final and cannot be refunded" [4]. Project, keyword and competitor add-ons stop at once when removed, and anything above the new limits is deleted, oldest first. AI Writer and daily-search add-ons run to the end of the billing cycle. Changing plans also removes all add-ons at the end of the cycle. Remove with care, and export first.
Price the add-ons you need before choosing Individual over Business. One extra project on Individual already brings it to $34 a month.
Upgrades, downgrades, refunds and cancelling
Moving between plans
The current help article, from September 2026, says monthly and annual plans upgrade with prorated billing, and Lifetime-to-Lifetime upgrades charge the difference. An older help article still says the full cost of the new plan is charged at upgrade; the newer article wins. Downgrades are where data goes missing. Moving to a smaller plan deletes anything above its limits, oldest first, and dropping to Free removes rankings and history except the oldest project with 25 keywords. Resubscribing may not restore it, because data can be permanently deleted after a period. Export reports first.
The refund policy, and who escapes it
The Terms are strict: after the free trial, fees are non-refundable, and annual and Lifetime fees are non-refundable as well [2]. The pricing FAQ adds that Lifetime purchases are final, and the help center repeats that there are no automatic refunds once a billing cycle starts. Plan for no refund. The exceptions depend on where you live. The Terms give EU and UK customers a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of the contract, minus a reasonable amount for services already provided, and Brazilian customers can get a refund only within 7 days of the transaction. Everyone else gets the no-refund rule.
How to cancel
Cancel in Account & Billing: choose Cancel Subscription, give a reason and confirm twice. Access continues to the end of the cycle. The Terms also accept written notice to admin@ubersuggest.com or by mail to San Diego. Canceling does not bring money back for the current cycle; it only stops the next charge. Keep the confirmation email, because some reviewers say they were charged after canceling.
Paying: cards, invoices and discounts
The pricing FAQ lists major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB and UnionPay, plus PayPal. The help center adds Google Pay and Apple Pay on Safari for iOS. Cards must allow international transactions, and no bank transfer is listed. Invoices download from the Billing section while the subscription is active. Company names and VAT numbers are added by email to support, and invoices cannot be issued before the first payment, so there is no invoice during the trial. After canceling, ask support.
Students with a university email and registered non-profits can get 20% off monthly plans only. On Individual, that is $23.20 a month, by our arithmetic. The student discount lasts 12 months and then renews at full price unless canceled 30 days before it ends. Annual and Lifetime are excluded, so for anyone who can pay upfront, the yearly saving of almost half beats the 20% discount by a wide margin.
Next to Semrush, Ahrefs and the rest
Price is where Ubersuggest wins most comparisons, and limits are where it gives ground. Semrush SEO costs $139 a month, or $117.33 a month billed annually, against $49 for Ubersuggest Business; over a year of monthly billing that is $1,668 against $588, a $1,080 gap by our arithmetic. Semrush buys depth. Ahrefs Starter costs $29 a month, the same as Ubersuggest Individual, and Ahrefs Lite costs $129. Ubersuggest adds yearly and Lifetime billing on top, while Ahrefs never runs discounts, per its pricing FAQ. At $29, the decision is about data, not price.
Mangools Basic costs $49 a month or $358.80 a year, against $29 or $192 for Ubersuggest Individual, which makes Ubersuggest $166.80 a year cheaper. But Mangools Basic tracks 200 keywords to Ubersuggest's 125. Price favors Ubersuggest. Limits favor Mangools. SE Ranking Core costs $129 a month, or $103.20 billed annually, and tracks 2,000 keywords daily, while Serpstat Individual costs $50 a month billed annually, with daily updates. Both cost more than Ubersuggest Individual or Business. Both track daily. That is what the difference buys, and our Ubersuggest alternatives guide weighs the rest.
Which plan to buy, and what the first year costs
Per project per month, Individual costs $29, Business $7 and Enterprise/Agency $6.60, by our arithmetic on monthly prices; billed yearly, the figures fall to about $16, $3.88 and $3.65. Per tracked keyword at full use, the monthly cost is about $0.23, $0.05 and $0.02. Volume is cheap here. Users are the bottleneck, and weekly updates are the trade-off. The bigger tiers look expensive only until you count the sites they cover.
For one site and one person, Individual yearly at $192 is the obvious buy. For two to seven sites or two people, start Business monthly, then switch to yearly once you are sure. Up to fifteen client sites, Enterprise/Agency fits. Buy Lifetime only after a month on the same tier, because it cannot be refunded or downgraded. Never buy Lifetime blind.
Three first-year budgets show how add-ons change the picture. A blogger on Individual yearly pays $192. A freelancer on Business monthly with one extra user pays $54 × 12 = $648. An agency on Enterprise yearly with three extra users pays $657 + $180 = $837, because add-ons bill monthly. Before committing, ask support four things by email: the price in your currency, the size of the AI prompt add-on, the monthly price of the Lifetime AI Add-On, and whether Lifetime limits can change. The Terms say limits can change and may vary with usage. Keep the replies.

The bottom line
Ubersuggest is cheap: $29, $49 or $99 a month, nearly half off when billed yearly, or ten months' worth once for Lifetime. The fine print is strict, though. There are no refunds after the trial, add-ons bill monthly on every plan, and Lifetime is smaller than it looks. Start on a monthly trial, confirm the currency at checkout, then move to yearly if the data holds up for your sites. For what the tool does with that money, read our full Ubersuggest review.
