No free plan, only a 14-day trial

Sendible has no free plan, and nothing on its pricing page hints that one is coming. Instead it offers a 14-day free trial with no card required to start, on every plan. The paid plans run from Core at $35 a month billed monthly to Enterprise at $750 a month billed monthly, all priced per plan with unlimited users, and growth is bought in workspaces of six social profiles each [1]. That makes the trial the only way to see the product before money changes hands. Two weeks is enough for a careful test. It is not enough for a casual one, so this guide treats the trial as a small project with a plan.

Sendible is built for agencies, multi-brand teams and franchise or multi-location brands, and the trial pays off when it mirrors that work: several clients or locations, a reviewer outside the team, and a report someone will actually read. A solo creator who only wants a few posts a week will find the free tiers at Buffer, Metricool or Later easier, and we compare those near the end. For everyone else the question is simpler. Does the plan you would pay for earn its price in fourteen days?

What the trial includes, and the rules that bite

You pick the plan the trial runs on

The trial runs on a plan, and the help center says you can change the plan for your trial when you need more room. That choice matters, because the plans differ in exactly the features agencies care about. Core gives one workspace of six profiles, unlimited scheduling, the inbox, pre-built reports and AI Assist, but no approvals, content library, campaigns or branded reports. Plus adds assignment and simple approvals. Premium adds content libraries, campaigns, branded reports and custom multi-step approval workflows. Run the trial on the plan you expect to buy, or one above it, so the features you judge in week two are the features that will appear on your invoice.

Limits that apply while you trial

Three limits shape what you can test. First, the help center says extra users or profiles cannot be added to the subscription during a trial; if you need more, you change the trial plan or contact support. The homepage reads differently, saying you can invite team members right away, and some help pages still describe the older per-user plans, so treat the subscription itself as fixed until you pay. Second, trial accounts can publish only 20 posts a day per workspace, against 100 to 500 sends a day per workspace on the paid plans [2]. An older pricing FAQ answer still gives a different figure. Third, the Terms let Sendible withdraw the trial if it believes the offer is being abused.

The card question, and what happens on day 14

On the card, Sendible's pages seem to disagree at first glance. The homepage says no credit card is required for the trial; the pricing FAQ says you are asked to add a card at the end of the 14 days, and that a card added during the trial is billed automatically when it ends. Read together, both hold: no card to start, a card to continue. The Terms add that if you do not cancel in time, the first payment is taken on the fourteenth day, then monthly or yearly. The payments help page confirms a card on file is not charged until the trial is over [3].

If you let the trial lapse instead, do not wait long to change your mind. The login help page says an account whose trial expired more than 21 days ago has probably been deleted, which means every workspace, queue and report you built during the test goes with it. An undecided team can add a card and cancel within the first billing period, but that payment will not come back. Or it can rebuild everything later from scratch, client connections included. Neither is ideal. Decide by day 12 instead.

⚠️
Watch out
An early card is billed automatically

A card added during the trial is charged when the 14 days end, and there are no refunds for prepayment or proration. Decide by day 12.

A 14-day test plan for an agency or multi-location team

The trial is short, and the features that matter most need time to show data, so the order of work matters. Reports cannot look backward on Instagram: the help center says Sendible does not pull Instagram analytics retrospectively, so every day you wait to connect a profile is a day missing from the report you build at the end. The plan below front-loads the connections, puts real people through the approval flow in the middle, and leaves the second week for the inbox and the report. It assumes a trial on Premium, since that is where branded reports and multi-step approvals live.

Days 1 to 3: workspaces and Client Connect with a real client

Create one workspace per client, brand or location, because that is how Sendible separates messages, reports and queues, and it is how you will be billed. Connect your own agency profiles first, then send a real client through Client Connect, the widget you place on your website so clients link their own accounts without sharing passwords. Watch the details here. Sendible supplies only the widget code and offers no help installing it. Profiles added this way always land on the main admin user, who then shares or transfers them. Instagram reminder and WordPress profiles cannot be added through it at all. Our Client Connect guide covers the setup in full.

Days 4 to 7: approvals by email and the Instagram decision

Next, assign a post approver to one client workspace and send that client a week of drafts. Reviewers get a notification and an email, and they can approve by email without a login, which is the test that matters for clients who will never learn a new tool. Core has no approvals at all; simple approvals start on Plus and custom multi-step workflows on Premium, so try the version you will pay for.

Then settle how each client's Instagram account will publish. A direct publishing profile for a professional account posts images, video and stories, pulls comments into the inbox and returns analytics. A reminder profile only emails you at the scheduled time so someone posts by hand; if nobody acts, the post never goes out, and no reporting data comes back. Audio, filters and GIFs need reminders, and video or mixed carousels are reminder-only. Send at least one reminder during the trial and confirm it arrives, since a March 2026 fix addressed reminder emails caught by Gmail spam filters.

Days 8 to 14: the Priority Inbox and a branded report

By the second week your connected pages have activity worth reading. The Priority Inbox gathers comments and messages with sentiment for Facebook Pages, Instagram and LinkedIn pages, plus YouTube comments, but it lags one to two hours and only covers engagement within about four days of a post. It leaves out X, TikTok, Google Business Profile and personal LinkedIn profiles, and Sendible's own pages disagree on Instagram direct messages, so confirm that point before relying on it. Social Feeds show each profile in real time, without sentiment. Answer real comments from both views for a few days. Note what arrives late.

Close the trial by building the report you would actually send a client. Branded reports come from the Report Hub on Premium and up, with two reports per workspace on Premium, up to 30 modules each, and delivery as a PDF, a link or a recurring email. Stored reporting data runs to 90 days as standard, and there is no Google Business Profile reporting, which matters for multi-location brands. Schedule the report to go out on day 13 and read it as your client would.

Connect Instagram on day one

Sendible does not pull Instagram analytics retrospectively, so every day before you connect is missing from the report you build at the end of the trial.

Demos, onboarding and help during the trial

Sendible's demo material is mostly self-serve. A five-minute video tour shows how the product handles content and proof of results, the customers page lists weekly live training sessions with questions and answers, and industry webinars for multi-location hotels, fitness brands and insurance offices walk through scheduling, campaigns, approvals and reports. White label is different: the help center says it is arranged through a demo call rather than self-serve, and it is a paid option on Elite and Enterprise only, about $50 a month above the plan price: Elite with white label costs from $349 a month in total and Enterprise from $800, per the pricing FAQ. The white-label page adds that it may carry an onboarding fee because of upfront setup costs.

Live chat runs on every plan during UK business hours, from 9am to 10pm GMT, and support says it usually replies within one business day. The help center holds 152 articles, though many were written for older plan names (Creator, Traction, Scale, Expansion), so check that an article matches the current plans before trusting its gates. Customer success provides one-to-one onboarding for Premium, Elite and Enterprise customers, and the pricing page's plan cards list a dedicated account manager from Premium too, although the homepage ties it to Enterprise. If you trial Premium, ask in chat early whether an onboarding session can happen before day 14.

Choosing a plan when the trial ends

Count workspaces, not people. Users are unlimited on every plan, so the bill depends on how many clients, brands or locations you run and which gates you hit during the test. Headcount does not matter. The workspaces you built in the trial, one per client or location, are your best guide to the invoice. These are the current plans, each price per plan:

An extra workspace of six profiles costs $35, $30, $25, $20 or $15 a month billed monthly on Core, Plus, Premium, Elite and Enterprise respectively. So an agency with eight clients that needs branded reports would pay $199 plus $25, or $224 a month billed monthly on Premium with one extra workspace, by our arithmetic. Before you commit, match the gate to the feature you relied on in the trial: if a client approved posts by email, Core will not do; if your reports went out branded, you need Premium. Our Sendible pricing guide works through more team sizes.

Users are unlimited on every plan. The number of clients, brands or locations you run decides between Core, Plus, Premium and Elite.

Paying after the trial: cards, invoices, refunds and suspension

The newer payments help page accepts credit cards only (Mastercard, Visa and American Express), not debit or prepaid cards, although the Terms still mention both. You can be charged in US dollars, pounds or euros, and the currency usually cannot change after the first payment. UK customers pay VAT on top. Paying by invoice or purchase order needs at least three months paid upfront, with 15-day payment terms. Upgrades are charged pro rata at once for the price difference, while downgrades earn a credit toward future payments that is not refundable. The Terms also let Sendible raise charges at any time.

There are no refunds for prepayment or proration [4]. Cancelling is done through a form on the Subscription page, and a cancelled plan keeps working until the day before the paid period ends; white-label and custom customers cancel through the billing team. That rule turns a yearly payment into a full-year commitment. It is the strongest reason to run the trial properly before paying annually. Test first, then prepay.

Missed payments follow a fixed path. After a declined charge, the account gets a seven-day grace period with daily retries; if every retry fails, it is suspended and admins can only update payment details. A subscription suspended for more than a month is terminated and its data is lost. If you only need a break, you can pause instead: users are logged out and scheduled posts and reports stop, and a pause that is not lifted within three months turns into a cancellation. The pause-or-cancel help page says a cancelled account can be recovered for up to 20 days and is deleted 30 days after cancellation.

Discounts: yearly, quarterly and nonprofit

Paying yearly saves 15%, paying every six months saves 7%, and paying quarterly saves 5%. On Plus, twelve months billed monthly come to $1,188, against $1,009.80 billed yearly, a saving of $178.20, by our arithmetic. Nonprofits get 15% off monthly plans or 25% off yearly plans. They sign up first, which starts the trial, and then contact sales with their account details and a link to their website, so a nonprofit should ask during the trial rather than after paying.

Only one discount applies to an account at a time; they do not stack. Discount codes usually last up to 12 months and replace the billing-frequency discount instead of adding to it. The Terms add a trap for anyone who changes plans: discount codes, including free-trial offers, stop being valid when the plan is upgraded or downgraded. If a code shaped your decision, pick the plan you mean to keep before applying it.

How rival trials and free tiers compare

Tool Free tier Trial
Sendible None 14 days, no card to start
Buffer Free: 3 channels, 1 user 14 days on paid plans
Metricool Free: 1 brand, 20 posts a month, no LinkedIn or X No standard free trial
Later Free plan in the help center (12 posts per profile a month) 14 days; needs a card, converts to paid automatically
Hootsuite None 14 days; no card per its pricing page, but its Terms say a trial with a card on file converts
Sprout Social None 30 days, no card
SocialBee None 14 days of Pro, no card; locks after

The split is plain. The tools aimed at creators and small teams keep a free tier with tight caps, while the tools aimed at agencies and larger teams rely on a time-limited trial and ask for payment when it ends. Sendible sits firmly in the second group. Its trial matches the most common length in the table, and it also shares the rule of no card to start, which removes the risk of a surprise charge as long as you do not add one early.

Agorapulse, which is not in our catalog, goes further on time: its pricing page offers a 30-day trial with no credit card, made of 15 days on the Advanced plan plus an optional 15-day extension. After it you choose a paid plan: Agorapulse ended its Free plan on July 6, 2026 for new and current users, and only a free Archie AI-content plan remains, although its homepage and pricing-page FAQ still mention a free plan. For agencies weighing these options side by side, our Sendible alternatives guide goes deeper.

Treat it as a project: run it on Premium if you need branded reports or multi-step approvals, connect Instagram and a real client through Client Connect in the first three days, put a reviewer through email approvals in the first week, and finish with a branded report and a decision by day 12. Remember the 20 posts a day per workspace trial cap, that a card added during the trial is billed automatically, and that there are no refunds for prepayment or proration once you pay.
