Two opposite ideas of what you pay for

Sendible and Agorapulse court the same buyer, a marketing team or agency that runs several brands, yet they bill for opposite things. Sendible charges per plan, with unlimited users on every current plan, and grows in workspaces. Those plans were introduced in August 2026 and are still rolling out, so accounts on older plans may still have per-user allocations. A workspace is one client, brand or location with six social profiles and its own inbox, reports and queues. Core costs $35 a month billed monthly, or $29.75 a month billed yearly, for one workspace [1]. Plus costs $99 a month billed monthly, or $84.15 a month billed yearly, for three workspaces and 18 profiles. Premium costs $199 a month billed monthly, or $169.15 a month billed yearly, for seven workspaces and 42 profiles.

Agorapulse charges per user. Its pricing page lists Standard at $79 per user a month billed annually or $99 billed monthly, Professional at $119 or $149, and Advanced at $149 or $199, with a Custom plan sold through a demo [2]. Each of the three self-serve Agorapulse plans includes 10 social profiles, and Agorapulse sells extra profiles at $10 a month each billed annually or $15 billed monthly. Ad accounts and Google Analytics do not count toward that limit. So every new teammate raises the bill at once on the per-user side. On the per-plan side, only a new brand or a new batch of six profiles does.

The discounts differ as well. Sendible takes 15% off for yearly billing, with smaller cuts for quarterly and half-yearly terms. Agorapulse advertises savings of up to 20% for paying annually, though its Advanced list prices ($149 against $199 per user a month) work out to about 25% by our arithmetic. Nonprofits are handled differently: Sendible publishes 15% off monthly plans and 25% off yearly ones, while Agorapulse offers nonprofit pricing on request. The billing unit is the real decision, because it settles which of the two gets more expensive as your team grows. The sums below show how fast that happens.

What three, five and ten people really pay

We priced three common team shapes at list price, using each vendor's own pricing page and matching plans by the features a team of that size usually needs. Agorapulse's pricing page shows its 10 included profiles per plan, so we counted every profile above 10 as an extra profile. Taxes, add-ons and negotiated discounts are left out. Treat the totals as a floor.

Three people and 18 profiles

A three-person team running three brands of six profiles fits Sendible Plus exactly, at $99 a month billed monthly or $84.15 a month billed yearly, with assignment and simple approvals included. On Agorapulse, assignments arrive on Professional, so the comparable setup is three Professional seats plus eight extra profiles. By our arithmetic, that comes to $437 a month billed annually, or $567 a month billed monthly. Even the cheapest route, three Standard seats on Agorapulse with the same eight extra profiles, reaches $317 a month billed annually. The per-plan model is several times cheaper here.

Five people and 42 profiles

Seven brands of six profiles fill Sendible Premium, at $199 a month billed monthly or $169.15 a month billed yearly. That plan brings multi-step approvals, content libraries, campaigns and branded reports. The closest Agorapulse match is Advanced, which adds shared calendars, saved replies and advanced reports, though its approvals stay simple one-step ones; multi-step approvals sit on Custom, priced through a demo, so for a team that needs them the gap is wider than these sums. Five seats plus 32 extra profiles come to $1,065 a month billed annually, or $1,475 a month billed monthly. The 32 extra profiles alone add $320 a month on annual billing. That is more than the entire plan on the per-plan side.

Ten people and 42 profiles

Doubling the team changes nothing on Sendible: still Premium, at the same $199 a month billed monthly. Ten Advanced seats on Agorapulse with the same 32 extra profiles come to $1,810 a month billed annually, or $2,470 a month billed monthly. Over a year, that is $21,720 on Agorapulse against $2,029.80 for Sendible Premium paid yearly. People, not profiles, drive the Agorapulse bill. List prices are not the whole story, though. Agorapulse includes things Sendible does not match, such as ad comments from Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok ads in the inbox from Professional, where Sendible picks up Facebook ad comments only for the first 3-4 days after an ad goes live, and up to 24 months of data retention on Advanced. Whether those are worth the gap is the rest of this comparison.

Price every seat for two years

Count users, profiles and brands, then price both tools for the team you expect next year, not today. Per-user bills grow with every hire.

Trials, cards and refunds

Sendible offers a 14-day trial with no card needed to start. The pricing FAQ says you are asked for a credit card at the end, and a card added during the trial is billed automatically when it ends. The help center says extra users or profiles cannot be added to the subscription during the trial, although the homepage says you can invite team members right away. Posting is capped at 20 a day per workspace while you test. There is no free plan. Sendible accepts credit cards only, and invoices need at least three months paid upfront.

Agorapulse's trial runs 15 days on its Advanced plan, with an optional 15-day extension (30 days in total), also without a credit card, so a team that takes the extension gets twice as long to test inbox rules and reports. Agorapulse ended its Free plan on July 6, 2026 for new and current users, although its pricing and homepage FAQs still mention one. The only free option left is the Archie plan, an AI content tool where posts can only be created with Archie. After the trial you pick a paid plan; its pricing page says there are no automatic charges and that plans can be switched at any time.

The exit rules matter more on Sendible. It gives no refunds for prepayment or proration, and a cancelled plan keeps working until the day before the paid period ends. Downgrades earn a non-refundable credit, not cash. A year paid upfront is a firm commitment on either tool: Agorapulse's annual billing also commits you for 12 months, billed upfront, and we found no published Agorapulse refund terms. Finish the trial, count your workspaces and only then switch to yearly billing. Our pricing guide walks through every plan, add-on and billing rule.

The inbox is where Agorapulse pulls ahead

Sendible's Priority Inbox gathers comments and messages from Facebook Pages, Instagram and LinkedIn pages, and tags each item with sentiment [3]. That sentiment is a simple ratio of good words to bad ones. Because of that analysis, the inbox can lag one to two hours, and it covers engagement within about four days of a post. It leaves out X, TikTok, Google Business Profile and personal LinkedIn. Sendible's own pages disagree on Instagram direct messages, so confirm before relying on them. Facebook messages can be answered within 24 hours. Social Feeds are real time per profile, without sentiment.

Agorapulse describes a broader inbox. Its inbox page says organic and paid post comments, mentions, private messages and reviews land in one place, and, from the Professional plan up, ad comments from Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok ads sync in once the ad accounts are connected. An Inbox Assistant can review, hide, delete, assign or bookmark items by keyword, depending on the network. Collision detection, which shows who is already replying, starts on Professional. Saved replies start on Advanced. Salesforce and HubSpot connect for adding contacts, and sentiment can be filtered on the higher plans.

X is a special case for both. Sendible removed X reports and monitoring in November 2023, when it moved to the newer X API for posting, so X stays a publishing channel there. Agorapulse sells X management as two add-ons priced through sales: X Lite for scheduling posts and threads, and X Plus, which adds moderation of comments and direct messages plus analytics. For a team whose day is spent answering people, the Agorapulse inbox covers more ground, while Sendible's inbox suits teams whose main job is publishing.

⚠️
Watch out
Sendible's inbox skips key networks

Priority Inbox leaves out X, TikTok, Google Business Profile and personal LinkedIn, and Sendible's own pages disagree on Instagram direct messages.

Reports and how long the numbers stay

Sendible's reporting has three layers. Quick, pre-built reports cover one to ten profiles on every plan, custom branded reports of up to 30 modules come through the Report Hub from Premium up, and only those custom reports email themselves to clients on a schedule. Premium allows two Report Hub reports per workspace, and Elite and Enterprise allow three. Google Analytics 4 data can sit beside the social numbers. The limit is history: Sendible stores 90 days of reporting data as standard, and longer periods need an export [4]. There is no reporting for Google Business Profile, personal LinkedIn or Bluesky.

Agorapulse keeps more. Its pricing matrix lists data retention of 6 months on Standard, 12 months on Professional and 24 months on Advanced and Custom, and Custom can import up to 24 months of past performance. Standard includes basic reports and branded exports, while Advanced adds ads reports, ROI analysis and competitor benchmarking. Power Reports, which its help center places on Advanced and Custom, offers five report types with up to 10 profiles per report, scheduled weekly or monthly; an older features page still calls it an add-on on every plan. PDF and CSV exports are basic, while PowerPoint export is part of Power Reports. LinkedIn personal profile reports and Facebook and Instagram competitor tracking round it out.

The practical difference shows at quarter's end. An agency that compares this quarter with the same quarter last year needs the longer window, or a habit of exporting every month. Sendible's branded, automated client reports are solid for monthly reporting. Year-over-year analysis is the weak spot unless someone exports on schedule. Our reporting guide covers the report types and export routine in detail.

Listening, AI and the MCP question

Social listening

Agorapulse sells listening as a separate add-on, priced on the volume of conversations and how far back you want to look. It covers Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn and Reddit, direct TikTok mentions, and thousands of news sites, blogs and forums, with up to 24 months of history. An AI screening pass separates real brand mentions from coincidental keyword matches, and a native share-of-voice view compares you with competitors. Sendible removed its Monitor Search and live search area in October 2023; some of its pages still list a Listening feature in the menu, but that link now leads back to the homepage, and mentions reach Sendible only through its inbox on the networks it supports. If listening is a requirement, the choice is made.

AI assistants

Sendible's AI Assist, launched in June 2024, is built on OpenAI and is text only: captions and ideas, with no usage limit. It works only in the main Compose box, not in the inbox, bulk importer, content library or Chrome extension, and it is off by default on white-label accounts. There are no AI replies and no AI images. The Terms say customers own AI content and their data is not used to train public AI models. Agorapulse lists a writing assistant, reply suggestions (on its Custom plan card), report summaries, hashtag suggestions, alt text generation, sentiment analysis and best time to publish. Its AI features are opt-in, and a setting called Organization Context keeps suggestions on brand.

API and MCP

Agorapulse has an MCP connector for ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft Copilot, in beta with pricing subject to change. It creates drafts only, with no automatic publishing, excludes Legacy plan holders and needs a paid subscription to the AI assistant. Its Open API, which covers reporting data, drafts, calendar notes and inbox sync, is available only on the Custom plan, priced through a demo. Sendible describes API access for software partners and large organisations, but no public API documentation exists on its site or help center. It mentions no MCP. Its Zapier app, in beta since January 2026, creates posts from other tools such as Airtable, Notion or Monday. For teams wiring social data into dashboards or AI tools, Agorapulse is ahead, provided they accept a beta connector and Custom pricing for the API.

Approvals, clients and agency programs

Sendible gates collaboration by plan. Core has no approvals. Plus adds assignment and simple approvals, and Premium adds custom multi-step approval workflows, content libraries and campaigns. Reviewers can approve by email without a login, which suits clients who will never learn another dashboard. Client Connect lets clients link their own social accounts through a secure widget on your website, with no password sharing, though Instagram reminder and WordPress profiles cannot be added that way. White label, which rebrands the dashboard, domain, reports and system emails, is a paid option on Elite and Enterprise at $50 a month above the plan price: Elite with white label costs from $349 a month in total and Enterprise from $800 a month in total, per the pricing FAQ.

Agorapulse handles clients through shared calendars. Clients give feedback on a calendar without being added to the subscription, and each calendar takes unlimited recipients. The pricing matrix shows five shared calendars on one tier and unlimited ones higher up, and agencies can buy them separately. Its plan summary places multi-step approvals on Custom, and its Profile Connector invites clients to connect their profiles securely. What its pages describe is white-label reporting, meaning exports with your logo and brand colors. If you need a rebranded app rather than branded reports, ask Agorapulse directly.

The agency programs differ in spirit. Agorapulse enrolls agencies on any paid plan in its Agency Love program automatically, with a private Facebook group and monthly software discounts, and it says over 3,000 agencies use the tool. Sendible's partner offer is an affiliate program that pays 12% lifetime commission. For a growing agency, Sendible's flat price and client-facing white label are the stronger draw.

Security and support

Agorapulse documents its security in detail. It says it is SOC 2 compliant, audited with Vanta, with the report released on request through sales, and its listening page claims SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022 certification, though its main security page names neither. Customer data is hosted in the AWS Ireland region, encrypted in transit and at rest. Two-factor login through an authenticator app, role-based access control and a yearly independent penetration test are listed, and SSO and custom roles sit on Custom. Like Sendible, it runs no paid bug bounty.

Sendible keeps customer data on US servers under standard contractual clauses. It offers IP address restriction, SSO on Enterprise and a vulnerability reporting page. No SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certificate is named anywhere on its site or help center, so security teams should ask for documentation during the trial. Support runs by live chat on every plan, 9am to 10pm GMT, with email replies within one business day, and 1:1 onboarding for Premium, Elite and Enterprise customers. Agorapulse says support is available 24/7 on all plans, with first responses ranging from under six hours on Standard to 30 minutes on Custom. Its homepage gives a different average, so treat the timing as a claim.

Who should pick which

Sendible's review profile is positive on the large review sites and cooler on TrustRadius, and its handful of Trustpilot reviews map complaints about billing, refunds, support and cancellation. That pattern fits the product: people like the publishing and client workflow, and the friction sits in the money rules. Read the refund policy before paying yearly. Agorapulse sits outside our catalog, so we hold no scored profile for it here.

Pick Sendible if your team is large relative to its brand count, if clients or managers need to approve by email, or if you plan to resell a white-labelled dashboard. The per-plan price stays flat as reviewers, freelancers and clients join, and Premium covers most agency needs. Skip it if you need X, TikTok or Google Business Profile in the inbox, more than 90 days of report history, listening, or an MCP connection (Agorapulse's is in beta). Pick Agorapulse if engagement is the job: ad comments from Professional, inbox automation, X moderation through its add-on, longer data retention and, on its Custom plan, an Open API. Expect to pay per person for that depth, and price every seat before you commit. Our alternatives guide covers the other rivals.

Frequently asked questions

Is Sendible cheaper than Agorapulse?+

For teams of three or more, yes by our arithmetic, because Sendible's current plans include unlimited users while Agorapulse charges per user and for profiles above 10.

How long are the free trials?+

Sendible offers 14 days with no card to start, and a card is requested at the end. Agorapulse offers 15 days on its Advanced plan plus an optional 15-day extension (30 days in total), without a credit card.

Does Agorapulse have a free plan?+

No longer. Agorapulse ended its Free plan on July 6, 2026 for new and current users, although its FAQs still mention one. The only free option left is the Archie plan, an AI content tool where posts can only be created with Archie. Sendible has no free plan.

Which tool keeps reporting data longer?+

Agorapulse lists 6, 12 or 24 months of retention by plan. Sendible stores 90 days of reporting data as standard, so longer periods need exports.

Do Sendible or Agorapulse offer an MCP server or API?+

Agorapulse has an MCP connector for ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft Copilot, in beta with pricing subject to change and limited to drafts (no automatic publishing), and an Open API on its Custom plan only. Sendible mentions no MCP and has no public API documentation.

No. Sendible gives no refunds for prepayment or proration, and a cancelled plan keeps working until the day before the paid period ends.

The bottom line

These two tools solve different problems at very different prices. Sendible is the cheaper way to run many brands with many people: unlimited users, workspaces of six profiles, approvals from Plus and branded client reports from Premium, with a 14-day trial and no refunds once you prepay. Agorapulse costs several times more for a team of five or ten, but it buys a deeper inbox with ad comments from Professional, up to 24 months of data on Advanced, listening as an add-on, an MCP connector in beta and a SOC 2 report. Choose by where your hours go. Publishing for clients favors Sendible, while answering people favors Agorapulse.
